I have that thread saved to check a little closer to when we go. Are all the current ones listed in one place so I don't have to read through the whole thread?
Great, thanks!!Yep I am pretty sure they are all listed in the first couple posts with a post per park

That was my thought that everything be pushed until late June/early July. Hoping that maybe the week before is slightly less crowded then i’m expecting. Congrats on the FastpassesMy FP day was earlier this week and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get everything we wanted (including FOP, 7DMT, and FEA) for exactly when we wanted them. We're a party of 8 and I didn't even have to split us up for anything -- was always able to get all 8 of us at the same time. This was the easiest FP day for me since FP+ started. Last time we went we were a party of 6 and I had to split us up and do overlapping times on a few rides. It seems like everyone has been having great success with their FPs lately....which makes me curious. What's different this time (we always go in June). I'm wondering if a lot of people who are planning to go this summer have all pushed their vacations until after June 30 so they can see TSL. It will be interesting to see how things go for people who will be scheduling their FPs in the next few weeks for arrivals after June 30. I'd love for the parks to be empty when we're there in June.
Has anybody used a towncar service over MDE? Do you save much time?
I think it's hard to predict. Full disclosure, I have no problems with using buses anywhere on property and love that they're free. But since the wait is variable I know people can have different tolerances for it. The first time we used Magical Express in October '16, we waited in line for 45 minutes. But it was a Saturday afternoon, so lots of people all coming in at once. All other times when arriving it's been a Tuesday morning so the wait was minimal. Personally I think it's a great way to start the vacation, and you get to see glimpses of other resorts you may not have been to yet. Because we're going to Universal first I'm renting a car at MCO for the first time and while some freedom would be nice, it'll be a little sad we start less festively.
We've always rented a car, but I thought Magical Express would be easiest, but I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews. I don't mind waiting....well, no more than a kid on Christmas lol.
Yeah I mean, I've never had any problem with it. I think the name might lead someone to believe it's a quick shuttle directly to their resort. Which you probably realize is not the case. It's certainly no worse than waiting in line to get on the airplane, or riding from the resort to the furthest park for example. I think people are eager to get going and don't realize there are many others sharing the bus as well. But for what it is, I am happy with the service. As they say, you get what you pay for. Considering it's free to anyone then I think what I've gotten is pretty good! Others may disagree but I've never had bad experiences.
Thanks! I'll probably just stick with ME as it will probably be the least stressful. I'm dreading the early drive to Midway airport so maybe I can take a nap on the bus!
Heh I drive to Midway all the time, it's not so bad! I guess it depends on where you're coming from though.
I like it better than O'hare and I've done both plenty of times. I used to travel a ton for work, but now it's all pleasure. It's about 70 miles from my house so not terrible, but not enjoyable at 2 am lol.
I live closer to O'hare but often prefer to fly southwest so Midway it is. I don't mind either one, but definitely wouldn't want to get going that early either! It takes about 45 minutes from the NW suburbs but with a 7 am flight we can leave at like 4:30 am and have no problem. Still way too early but not nearly as bad as you've got going on!
Yeah, I'm kicking myself for this flight, but it was cheap and I can maximize the day with some coffee. I used to work in Hoffman Estates and was going to move up there until the housing market crashed, so I drove that for 2 years before I went to work for another company started by the original owner of my company.
