Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

I think Erika got in trouble with Tom and that is why she is upset again. He seems to have little tolerance for nonsense, from what little they have showed of him.

Yup, that's it. The big deal is Erik displeased Tom. I couldn't really understand the huge issue. I could see Dorit misreading Erika and thinking the panty gift would be taken as funny or a last it being a light-hearted way to address the awkward situation of Erika accidently flashing everyone all night. It would be hard to know that the woman with the pat the p*** mantra would be so offended.
Remember when Erika had the ladies over for dinner with Tom and there was tense conversations (especially with that other housewife, I can't remember her name). Erika was incredibly upset about how they behaved in front of Tom. It was all about upsetting Tom.
I get the feeling Tom's support and approval of the Erika Jayne persona ends in Beverly Hills and his circle.
Rinna, wow I don't even know what to say. She's really awful. She really seemed to enjoy the fighting. Her face at dinner said it all.

I know!!! Erika dresses so provocatively on stage and says the "C" word etc. I wouldn't think she wold be so upset at panty gate. I would figure it would be more like her to play it up, laugh it off and make a t-shirt saying "I like to flash my P*****!" That's why I think Tom was extremely displeased and probably had multiple conversations about it, which in turn, upset Erika.

I do remember that dinner where Tom was very upset and I think he yelled at someone and didn't he tell Erika to "stop talking because he was talking" or something like that when she tried to talk?

I think she was horrible. To me she was being malicious and petty. There was no reason for her to do it other than to be mean.

I agree. In "real life", if I were in Dorit's shoes, I would never mention it to the person. If Erika flashed them, I'm sure it was inadvertent. She knew she didn't have underwear on and how to sit. It was obviously a mistake, and Dorit felt the need to make it a big deal.

There are other reasons. She easily could have thought Erika had a sense of humor that would find it funny.
Everyone knows people they can joke with one way and would not joke that way with others or under certain circumstances.
I think Dorit's mistake was making the assumption that she could joke with Erika like that when she barely knew her. Also, if Rinna and Eileen didn't keep bringing it up, it probably would've blown over. They are really making it more than it ever needed to be, especially Rinna.
My guess is Dorit thought it'd be an edgy (that's not really the right word but I can't think of what exactly I want to say) joke to Erika and it would advance their new friendship.

Yeah I remember that but I think that was a different time, when they were out to dinner with Lisa and Ken.

I think she's been pretty clear that her stage personality is different than her IRL though.

Okay, I was pretty disappointed in Erika's behavior the other night. It's like she just went off the deep end. She seemed a little off balance, melting down over a comment that in no way was directed specifically at her son. I think there was way more contributing to this melt down that we are aware of.

That involved Kathryn and Lisa V. at a dinner party at Erika's.

There was also an uncomfortable situation with Lisa and Ken at lunch or something where he shushed Erika.

With what Erika does on stage and in her videos; even "performing" pat the p*** on the reunion show, I find it hard to believe she'd become so unhinged about pantygate. There's gotta be a piece missing...

Lisa Rinna is trash.

Oh she has, but I think the line is very blurred. She is obviously not offended by much or she would not perform the way she does and in the manner she does. Nor would she make the videos she does, which look like soft porn. She frequently uses the "C" word as Erika, not her stage persona Erika Jayne and makes no apologies for it. There was a scene where they were at a party and she referred to someone as c***y and the person she spoke with was shocked. She was just like, "Yeah it's my word and I use it." I am fine with how she acts, but own it (as Lisa R would say LOL!)

I too am shocked at how Erika reacted towards Eileen. She did admit on WWHL with Andy that she was sorry and overreacted. As for Dorit, so annoying! She was warned by the ladies to speak to Erika in person.

I am just shocked that you would defend Erika's out of the blue attack on Dorit over something that happened weeks beforehand, and also that you consider a funny joke as "mean." It was funny. And the classless lady who was flashing her naked hootch to everyone that night should have had a better sense of humor. The attack on Dorit during an overseas trip was HORRIBLE! Can you imagine getting that piled on you like that and you have no escape from those horrible women? Now that was mean.

Where did I defend Erika?

And no, in my opinion, not a joke and not funny. But, hey, it's okay to come away with different interpretations. That is what makes ratings for Bravo. It is why they set up these situations.

I'm shocked you are shocked. It is just a reality (kind of) show.

I think Dorit asks for it. She stirs the pot and then acts all innocent when it comes back around to her. It wasn't an out of the blue attack. Dorit was being called out on on the boat over what she said about L.R.. The topic was that she is BSer so ALL of her BS was brought up. Maybe if she didn't gossip about everyone and vie for their attention she wouldn't have this issue.

I don't think Erika was classless during the panty incident. Why didn't someone let her know you could see her business? If PK were a decent man he'd have pulled his wife aside and told her so that she could tell Erika then. Instead he chose to stare the whole time, THEN tell his wife, who gossiped about it to everyone who would listen but only "joked" with Erika about it. GMAB.

How many times are they going to keep bringing it up though? Lisa R. And Eileen just seem to harp on things and that makes them a bigger deal than they would be. Dorit had already explained herself and apologized. It should have ended at that point. With Lisa R. And Eileen it seems they are always over analyzing things until they've given it some greater meaning.
Lisa R. has taken this panty thing and turned it into Dorit thinking Erika did it to purposely seduce PK or something. That's a huge leap. Lisa R. Is always gossiping and running her mouth, saying whatever pops into her head. I wouldn't be surprised if she's said something to Erika about Dorit really thinking Erika did it on purpose and planting a seed in Erika's mind that Dorit was really attacking her character.

I think Erika would've laughed off Dorit giving her the panties if she would've known ahead of time that she was accidentally flashing that night. To find out about it by being given the panties was probably a little embarrassing. Also, I think it's possible that Erika doesn't like Dorit because she's the only one who's really into fashion/hair/make-up to the extent she is, so it's a competition, thing, maybe? I don't really love or hate Dorit, but Erika must've been off her meds or something to not only treat Dorit like that, but especially how she treated Eileen. It was absolutely psychotic, IMO. Rinna is just crazy, so I'm not really surprised by her behavior, but it definitely made me like her less than I already did.

When Erika suggested that Dorit apologize to Tom, I thought that was pushing it, but to then suggest that PK needs to, as well... I would've told her to f-off. Who does she think she is? I hate that I dislike Erika now because she was definitely one of my favorites before this.

I agree. I just don't think Dorit is this innocent woe-is-me girl that some people seem to think she is. From day one on the show, she got right into the dirt and I think she likes it.

Yeah I don't think she's some innocent little lamb. The show's been on long enough that they all know the score. Nobody is signing up to be on it if they want to stay out of the drama.

They keep showing Dorit speaking about lisa's pills and how it's so innocent but I swear I remember Dorit telling someone (maybe Lisa V) Lisa R might have a problem? She said something to someone that made me think that but Bravo is never showing that clip, darn it. I think Lisa R is right about this one
