perhaps now we can call you SSG

:rotfl2:
I was flapping my wings Debbie!!

And I guess we need a SSG around here since Mr SSB is not around very much anymore, hint hint :lmao:

morning everyone.......I love your costumes......you did a good job. Kids loved itI bet!!

Today is another day. Sun is out but still seven thirty blahhhhhhhs. Who wants to start a day and have to take a shower when it is in the 40s outside. I am thinking of the snow that will be here before we know it.

Tonight we are going to see kaitlynns soccer game. She was injured two weeks ago and has missed 5 games. The orthopedic specialist said to take it easy and wear it taped up and her air cast too. She still has pain but does not want to miss any more. Pretty soon she will be gone so we dont want to miss these last few games. She will be going to college next fall.

Hope you all have a great day today.

It's great soccer weather today up here in the north, eh pumba??
I hope Kaitlynn is healed enough to not do more dammage playing on it. Sometimes kids (and sometimes unfortunately their coaches and teammates) don't give these things enough time. But whatcha gonna do? :confused3

I'm thrilled to report that my sister's pathology report came back benign from the local pathology group. They are sending it to Boston for a look because it is such a rare type of tumor but we are very very relieved at this news! :thumbsup2

GREAT NEWS ANN!!!!!!! :woohoo:

ahhh, I hope she can do OK and without pain. Isn't that always the way. They get injured on their senior and final season. So sad. It happened to all 3 of my sons. The 1st with football, the 2nd with basketball and the 3rd with soccer ... so unfortunate!! Fingers crossed for her Marie :thumbsup2
And take a blanket to wrap yourself in while you watch ;)

geesh........they lost but the coach and trainer put Kaitlynn in almost the whole game........stupid....she was supposed to take it easy......Kimberly was not happy with that....she had on her air cast and it was taped and a few times she went and did an about face and kicked for all she was worth....she did midfield, defense, and some other position.....she was all over the place.......I am sure she will be sore tonight.....and tomorrow.....she has another game on Thursday and one on Saturday......
Thanks for thinking of her tonight.......and ME......I froze my petutie off....my knees were frozen and I had on shirt, sweatshirt, and beans jacket....still froze.

Not a happy evening at the Poohlovr house....

My ex-FIL called me today at work. While I don't care for his son, I still (and will always) love my ex-FIL.

He told me he had a biopsy of his prostate and it came back positive today. .

While I realize that the cure rate for prostate Ca is very high, I can't help but worry. He lost his wife last year and has some other medical problems.

He will start radiation tx soon. I pray they work.

Prayers for you ex-FIL Sue. And I can relate, I feel the same way about my ex-inlaws. They have been the best grandparents to my first son

Thanks for the kind words, guys. This news just has me really shaken up.
I do love that sweet man. I still remember the night I met him back in 1971 and the corny joke he told me. Funny thing was--on the way to their house,my ex had told me "You'll know if my dad doesn't like you; he;ll start telling some corny jokes". Sure enough--first thing out of his mouth--corny jokes! :rotfl:

I later told him what ex had told me. He felt kinda bad, but he laughed about it.

Cool thing--even though ex re-married more than 20 yrs ago, ex-FIL told me not too long ago that I will always be his daughter--and that I've always been his favorite of the D-I-Ls. :rotfl2:

'Course, ex MIL told me the same thing a couple of months before she passed away...and she didn't like me when ex and I were married. :rolleyes1

MAybe the competition is just not that stiff. :lmao:

Sue, I'm sorry  I'll be keeping him in my thought and prayers. Too funny, us cheerleaders -loving and being loved by the ex-laws. I feel that way about my Ex MIL, Megsters Nanny, she is SUCH a sweet woman.

I'm having kind oif a bummer of a day....lots of things going on with the house and family, work is a zoo, and one of my friends from my original breast cancer support group, the youngest of the 4 of us who had ovarian as well as breast cancer...her ovarian cancer has recurred and she has tumors in her pelvic/abdomen area :sad2:

But...glad for having you all as friends and looking ofrward to a little solo Disney therapy in a few more weeks.....

Ann - Nice costumes! :rotfl:

Sue - sorry to hear about your ex-FIL.

:wave2: to everyone - I'm really a slacker these days, and I have all sorts of excuses. They're flimsy, but they're excuses...

I'm moving to a different floor in my office - right NEXT to the Admin people  It's been a bit stressful, and I hurt my shoulder/neck a few weeks ago, so all this activity is certainly not helping matters. I've been in the same location for the past 5 years, so this is going to be tough.

Marching band season is moving along, and since I'm a board member, it's been a bit busy. Feeling a bit overwhelmed at times now...and can't even express myself very well.
