Yay! See you there!! I was hoping some friends/family would register to do it with me and we could all go down together. But nobody took the bait. Sigh.

Trying to plan and save money however for next summer a WDW and/or Disney Cruise Line Trip!!!!

also saving money because i believe in May , Duffy's Girlfriend ShellieMay will becoming here all the way from tokyo!!!

Disney's Mother's Day Royal Brunch 2011!!!

hello all!!! this is my first trip report in a long time!!! I didn't actually go to Disneyland since this event took place at the Disneyland Hotel, but it definitley one of the most magical events i have ever been to in my life!!! Honestly it might be my favorite!!!
As soon as i heard about this event i made Reservations right away for my mother, sister and i, knowing that this was going to be a amazing. The detail read

Delectable details: “Disney’s Royal Buffet for Mother’s Day” at the Disneyland Hotel is 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on May 8, with Cinderella and her princess friends and live musical entertainment. The extravagant buffet includes beautiful spring salads, artisan cheeses, smoked and chilled seafood, cured meats, breakfast selections, seasonal fresh fish and free-range chicken. “Action stations” include fresh omelets, carving stations, Mickey waffles, crepes and Champagne. And just wait ‘til dessert, highlighted with a decadent chocolate fountain.

as soon as i read the words princess' and chocolate fountain i was down!
then i saw the 71.99 per person price tag. Which is quite alot even for an all you can eat brunch! But i bit the bullet and went ahead and made reservations, which i'm so glad i did!!!!

THE TRIP REPORT STARTS!

I had made reservations for 10 a.m. which was the earliest time, we arrived around 9:55 and the brunch included complimentary valet parking! which was amazing since we had no idea where the parking structure was! We checked in and payed then were taken into a waiting room where we waited til they would announce us which was pretty exciting! ! they had a mini photo spot, the picture didn't turn out too great though:

When they called us they handed us our buttons :

i had a mini freak out when i saw the button because it was so adorable PLUS it had my favorite princess Tiana on it!!!
They took into the amazing grand ball room and to our table!!!!

Right when we walked in the band was playing " L. is for the way you look at me. O. is for the only one i see" and i had another freak out because i LOVE that song!!! They showed us our table which was beautiful! Right by the food and the band!

We spent maybe less than a minute at the table when i spotted Minnie mouse and immediately ran over there!! FOOD CAN WAIT!

Minnie was in her pink dress which i had never seen before, and there was no line at all, since very few people were there that early!

Then we saw princesses on the complete other side so we hurried over there.
The first princess we saw was Aurora!

Then we waited to see Cinderella! and they actually had the Royal carriage they use for the Disney weddings out!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!

after that the other princesses were not out yet so we went to go get food! we filled our plates with tons of seafood and mickey waffles.....weird combination i know! BUt right when we filled our plates Tiana, Snow White, and Belle came out!!! SO we set down our plates in a rando location since our table was at the complete opposite side of the ballroom and ran over to get picture with them!
Tiana was first of course since she is my favorite!!!
EVERYBODY SAY " MARDI GRAS!"

Then it was Snow White with her good friend Dopey!

I admit i got a bit obsessed with Cinderella's Carriage

On the complete other side i saw Clarabelle Cow so my mom and sister went to get our food i went to get a picture with her, while in line two special characters came in their Sunday best!

That's it for characters even though Chip and Dale came out later! UP NEXT: FOOD PORN!!

They had the most delicious desserts ever!!! not only a chocolate fountain but just tons and tons of desserts!

i had french macaroons for the first time ever and they are AMAZING!

and some kind marshmallow coated with rock candy which was TO DIE FOR!

These were the most delicious desserts i ever had in my liffe, every single one them were AMAZING!
The whole event was outstanding! Not only were the food and characters great but the atmosphere was just out of this world!!! They definitively make you feel like royalty here and we plan on making this a yearly tradition!!!

We were lucky and were able to do this brunch in 2009 and it was absolutely amazing, your pictures definitely made me miss it this year.

i definitely plan for my trip reports later in the year, just for me when the weather gets warm my trip count decreases LOL, still doing the Disneyland 5k though!! and going to to do the Disney D23 Expo as well!!!
