:cheer2:Do they go the second week of December EVERY YEAR?!?:cheer2:

I almost chose that week oh! wait I did choose that week!!!:rolleyes1
has anyone ever been at the same time is it bad and if I had to book at the POP or a mod would we be inundated by them and the noise?!?

and would I have to worry about Dayne:rotfl2::lmao:???

so the last week of November sounds better & better doesn't it:lmao::rotfl2:

see why I need this poll!!!
KEEP THE INFO COMING!!!

I'm sorry to say, but If you were to stay at the same resort then you would definatly be annoyed by the noise. I mean, cheerleaders are screamers (hehe) of course there will be some noise!:cheer2:

Since we are going during Pop Warner week (booked airfare before consulting the Dis :sad2: - I had no idea!!!) I have been pretty up on the goings on for this year. They are staying at ASp with CSR as an "over-flow" option. I have heard that they did stay at CBR before too, so boy was I glad when I read that they would be at CSR this year. No :cheer2: for me!!!

Good morning Connie. Give my boy a Saturday hug and kiss please. Have a good day. It is beautiful here today. Around 80 degrees and sunshine.

Can't wait for your report; maybe it was not a bad thing to open a PTR sooooo early this way I can get all the info I need to base my trip on!!!! so Danny will have a magical one this go round--I ALWAYS HAVE A MAGICAL TRIP IN THE LAND OF pixiedust:

Good morning or afternoon Ginny, will do on the kisses and hugs. We have a beautiful weekend ahead of us. Just wish Danny would find something to do that I like to do also; he want to go to the track again:scared1:. MEN!
Just don't know if that is something DS3 can handle or even the night air with the "cool" front (weather change is my concern).

Have a great weekend!!!!
:wave2:

I agree with you. Night air would probably not be good for the little guy after being on the ill side all week. Have a great day whatever your plans.

Ginny

Connie,

Hope your weekend was fantabulous. It was so pretty here. How is my little man this morning. I think he is in need of kisses and hugs. I do hope he is feeling better. You have a great day. I've missed talking to you over the weekend.

Ginny

Good morning! Ginny,
just sat for a quick break; I have been doing laundry and rearragning little man's drawers (I really need to Danny's and mine)! The little ones are playing quietly at the moment with blocks (we are counting as they build their tower or train;) ). They have already had two run off races around and around and around the house while I folded laundry. My little girl helped with the towels (which means I have to refold as I put away

DS3 had a great weekend he ended up staying Sat nite w/my parents; Danny & Dayne went to the car races Sat. nite. I stayed home pouting and watched "High School Musical 1 & 2" --I had never seen them before. Danny & Dayne did not get home until 1:30 am so needless to say I was not happy all day Sunday either. We finished the weekend with dinner at my parents house so it ended OK!!

I warned him that is two weekends in a row and he BETTER plan to do something with ME this coming weekend!!!! :( He seemed to celebrate his b-day two weekends in a row. He needs to find something for both of us, to do!!! I was going to go to the movies and just felt funny going alone. I would have gone with them if a few of the women would have gone but they all had other plans. Oh Well!!!

The hugs & kisses have been dispersed very very happily along with the tickles!!!:lovestruc

talk maybe later this afternoon; I still have dayne's clothes left and I want to do their lessons and take them out before lunch at 1:00.

Have a great day!!!!
Ginny and everyone out there!!

Good Morning, Connie! I've been MIA over the weekend, but I'm back, trying to work and DIS at the same time. And trying to get caught up. Whew! That's hard.

I hope everyone is having a good day so far. Sounds like you've got a lot of things accomplished. I have a lot to do getting ready for my upcoming trip, so I wish I could be at home taking care of some things.

Give little man his hug from Aunt Mel! Have a great day...try to relax a little, okay????

I'm thinking I'm gonna have to write Danny a letter. That will put the fear in him for sure.

I know what you mean about going out alone. Poor soft-hearted Sheri when we go out to eat and someone is sitting alone she always wants to go ask them to join us. She usually eats in her car cause she hates eating alone. When she spends the night in Arkansas she will go to the movie. They have an 8 plex where she stays. She said a couple of times she was the only one in the entire theater not just her show. She quit doing it.

Enjoy sorting drawers. I so need to do that. One would think with just the two of us it wouldn't get so bad. It does.

Take care and have a great day. :wave2:

Ginny

My b-day may not be a total bust. Mom & Dad just called to see if I want to eat dinner at the Hollywood Casino (they do steak and seafood on thursday & they ALWAYS have dungeness crabs, YUM!!) Thursday. Danny may have to work so she said well we can go without him:laughing:

Well, you know I would not do that but oh boy Crabs, Crabs, Crabs and more seafood here I come...

Later!!!:wave2:

Yummo. Love seafood. Crabs of all kinds. Well the eating kind anyway. What a fun time that would be. I hope that Danny could get off. I know you couldn't celebrate without him. That would not be fun for you. But woo hoo what a meal.

I'll leave the seafood to you gals. I'll stick to "land" animals for supper, thank you very much!

:wave2:I KNOW! I KNOW! I really need to pick at date and a place for our 2010 WDW magical adventure.

But, I have been thinking about so much I want to do when we do start the planning process!!:upsidedow

FIRST: I need to learn more about the DDP
are we or are we not going to do this?!?

I'm leaning towards the regular DDP for 5 days that would give us two or three character breakfast and two or three sit down dinners.
I want to do Crystal Palace for breakfast, and than either Playhouse disney at the vine & dine, Chef Mickey, Lilo & Stitch at the Ohana (I think), OR Donald's Tusker House!
for dinner I would like to try the Italian place in Epcot (don't know name at this moment), Fantasmic dinner I think they have two places to choose from, dinner at the AKL which resturant, and the WL lodge "Whispering Canyon"OR I can just go DDPDx and we can try and do it all. I think that it may be too stressful for me to try and plan three sit downs a day. If we did this plan we would have to do two sitdowns and a CS, I think. I'm really thinking the reg. DDP will be more than enough. remember we never do the food thing so this would be a first!!!

SECOND: I'm thinking of checking into the Petty driving experience for Danny. What a thrill that would be for him and Dayne if he comes.

OK, I think that is enough for now on the PTR decisions. as for the resort I have been checking into the contempary. If Gwendolyn & Joe don't join us I only need one room. But, I don't think that is going to happen. So, at the moment we are between POFQ for Danny and CBR for me. But, I can't wait for Dana to give me a report on the POP. And I'm leaning towards the week after thanksgiving at this time, so to miss POP Warner they are not listed on the CSR convention list that KATMARK (I think that is her name) has started so they are probably doing a different resort for 2010!

Car will be paid for NEXT WEEK!!:woohoo::woohoo: I can start on the medical bills and come October I can BOOK :yay:!!! I just wish I could figure out how to swing a trip in the first part of 2010 and not the later half. It seems like a life time away. But, at least we have the :beach: in June, right!!! If I do them both in the first part of the year by the end of the year we will be looking for something to do.

MY MY I"m in a rambling mood, so I'll leave the thoughts at that for now.!!!

Ohana for breakfast is a blast, but your little man would love Hollywood and Vine Playhouse. We did H&V for Fantasmic. It is buffet, but it is good and not as pricey as Mamma Melrose or Brown Derby. If you do DDP you could afford one of the more expensive places. I think Tusker House looked fun too. I think it is a matter of character choices more than food choices.

Daughter Sheri and family stayed at Contemporary and loved it. They had 2 queens and a day bed. So five can sleep easily in those rooms. And to be so close to MK is a plus.

Lucky you on car getting paid off. I still have a year on mine.

Have a great evening.

Oh Connie I could give you advice for ages! Especially because your DS3 will be the same age then, that my DS4 is now! You don't want to get me started, 'cause you know I'm already in planning mode (and I haven't done A THING on the boys' books today and I think it's too late now...tomorrow I guess). ANYWAY...

Contemporary is awesome, but stick with a moderate if you haven't done that before (have you?). Then you can save the extra money for other fun stuff.

The regular DDP gives you 1 TS, 1CS, and 1 snack every day. The DxDDP give you 3 meals, however you want them (you don't HAVE to do 3 sit downs a day). Play and Dine is fun but it's pretty much just Little Einsteins (I think JoJo & Goliath were there two years ago, but since the show isn't on anymore they probably aren't anymore). Have you done ANY character breakfasts? If not, we have always LOVES Restaurantosaurus. I know it's at Tusker House now and we haven't been there yet, but I'll let you know what I think in a couple of weeks. :thumbsup2 Everyone loves Chef Mickey's (I have actually always preferred AK) and if he's a fan at all you HAVE to do Crystal Palace. CP is just awesome. We do it almost every trip. We're not this time, but I think Matt and I figured out today that 5 of our 8 meals are at places we've never been. How cool is that? O'hana is also great. We had a lot of fun at that one and the food was really good. The other thing to think about is that there's a chance they'll offer Free Dining when you go. Then you can decided to do the regular or upgrade to the deluxe. Either way it will be cheaper than what you planned. ;)

Matt has always wanted to do Richard Petty, but it's SO expensive. Hmmm. THAT might make a nice 10th anniversary surprise for him. I'll have to think further about that one myself. Thanks!

See, I can ramble too. Please ask any questions you have. I'll answer what I can, and what I can't I'm sure other readers can help with.

Hope you had a good day and have a good night!

Hey, Connie!

I loved Crystal Palace breakfast, but if you go, plan to stay awhile. It took us over half the morning to eat and do the character meet and greets, plus we had to wait awhile on our table, even though we had made prior reservations. It was a lot of fun, though, and I enjoyed the food.

We did Chef Mickey on our last day in WDW back in 2006. We had breakfast there and it was the last thing that we did before going home. It was nice b/c it wasn't a park day and it was our last, but we still got to experience some Disney magic before we left. And as one last treat, we did the monorail ride around the resorts, too!

Richard Petty sounds like a blast. I know my DH would love it, and so would yours. So if you can swing it, DEFINITELY do it! :thumbsup2
