Hoilday as in vacation if you are in america.

the first two that come to mind for me are

losing my wallet in Brighton , just disappeared with out trace or seeing my dad hit a golf ball into the middle of the road in france

Most memorable or worst? We've got lots of wonderful memories. The most difficult experience we ever had was losing our Passports last year in Monaco 2 days into a 5-port Med cruise. We've decided to remember it based on the old saying "All's well that (eventually) ends well".

With my gf, on holiday State side to see Disney... Walking into Mainstreet USA and seeing the castle... WOW!

It's a toss up between the Christmas Eve when our basement flooded and we lost power in the house. And the drive home to SE Suburban Chicago area from Houston on Christmas night in a blizzard. 18 hours with the last three in snow.

Seeing the kids faces when they first went to DL. Plus, the kids fascination over simple things like yellow school buses, and the green recycle bins in California. We spent ages checking out one of those bins, people must have thought we were weirdos standing discussing a bin.

Most happy vacation memory was spending several hours with my son on Tom Sawyer Island on his first trip to Disney World. The worst was the reason why we were able to be there by ourselves--we were vacationing with my husband, my mom, and my mother and father in law and they all decided to have adult temper tantrums which was very embarrassing so I decided to take my son to the island and we had so much fun that we still reminisce about it.

I’ve had many wonderful and memorable vacations but one that stands out as a bit of a story is when I traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to London with my HS Theatre group. We were in a beautiful, old hotel. Our room was very fancy with a 20 foot, embellished ceiling and a claw foot bathtub. You had to hand your key in at the front desk when you left and when we came back one day we were told we had been moved to another room. I was 17 and SO upset that someone had just come into our room and tossed all my dirty clothes into my suitcase and moved all of my things! I don’t know why I felt so violated, but I did. I became absolutely FURIOUS and flabbergasted when I walked past my old room to see them filming a porno! :scared1: Thankfully I didn’t see too much, but a blowup doll was definitely involved! My little Catholic school girl heart couldn’t take it!

I think it would be the time my then 4 yo got lost in MGM Studios(then). I thought my parents had him, my parents thought I had him, when Indiana Jones let out. We found him sitting with a very nice elderly couple on a bench nearby.

The most fun and memorable vacation we took was when we spent four days on The Big Red Boat, followed by three days at WDW (staying at CBR). Our son was four years old at the time and it was all just magical. That trip really triggered my love for Disney.

We took my mom and my son and his family to WDW. We didn’t realize mom had dementia. She could hide it at home, but not at WDW. OMG, what a trip. I think the highlight was all the meltdowns she had over the stupidest things.
