Where to eat?

We are going on a 7 day land and sea cruise for our honeymoon starting May 12th. We have booked the honeymoon escape package and were told that a representative would contact us 30-40 days before leaving. My first question is should I wait for this person to call to make all of my ps or should I do it on my own. I was hoping that this person would be able to spread some disney magic for us since it is our honeymoon. My second question is where are some places to eat that we shouldn't miss. We want to V/A and cinderella's castle, and we would like to do the fantasmic dinner show, but I don't have anything else planned.

Thank you:)

Ariel25, congratulations on the upcoming wedding!

I would book whatever PS you want now -- do not wait for your rep to contact you. Leave nothing to chance (that is what I always do since I got burned by Disney a few years ago). Then, when your rep finally contacts you, you can tell he or she your PS confirmation number and maybe they can get you bumped up to a better table (you never know).

Where to eat? V&A's, Citrico's, Narcoossee's, California Grill, Hoop-Dee-Doo, Polynesian Luau, Spoodles, Flying Fish, Cinderella's Castle (for breakfast), 1900 Park Fare (for a character meal), Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, Prime Time Cafe, Le Cellier Steakhouse, gosh, I could go on and on. There are so many fun and wonderful places to eat at WDW.

When you call to make your PS, or any other arrangements, be sure to tell the CM that you'll be on your honeymoon. Also, if you want a little extra attention, be sure to wear the bride and groom ears while you're out :)

The Hoop-Dee-Do was a fun dinner trip.
Since it was our honeymoon they sat us at table number 13. That is the one
up against the stage in the center.
We had a great time. They made an announcment that we had been married for a whole three days, and had us get up and dance.
After the dinner was over we had half the place congratulate us.

If you truly have your heart set on specific places/days/times I would call Disney to make PS on the first day the seating is available. If you miss something or can't get in, then see if your coordinator can help you. We staying in a concierge room once and tried several times to get into Cindy's for breakfast and couldn't. The concierge was able to get a seat for us at the last minute - and let us know the day before so we were able to enjoy that.

We did the Honeymoon Discovery Magic this past October, and I let our Honeymoon Consultant make all our PS. I just gave her our list (which was a long one since we used almost all of our "wishes" for dinner), and she was able to secure every single one for us. She also scheduled Parasailing for us and special areas to watch fireworks at MK and Illuminations at Epcot.

We ate at Brown Derby, Fulton's, Narcoosee's, dinner at CRT, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Artist Point, Sci-Fi Diner, and Le Cellier. Our favorties were Le Cellier, Brown Derby, and Yachtsman. And yes, we got special treatment at all of them except Fulton's.

We received a package from our honeymoon consultant, at the polynesian. So far I have been able to reserve dinner at V&A's, and we are using that as our option from the romantic escape package, and we have made horseback riding reservations, I am curious starshine, as to were you made your reservations at to see the fireworks at MK and illuminations at epcot.

We have also asked them to make reservations at Cinderella's castle for dinner and at fulton's at downtown disney. Are there any other places, or other places than the ones that I have chosen that people think are better.

Thank you to everyone that has responded, it has been a tremendous help!!:)

How do you get in contact with a honeymoon consultant? I booked our honeymoon thru AAA with the Deluxe Magic Plan. Last year when we went I was able to make all of the PS I wanted, except for Cinderella's Table for breakfast. It was a b*&%tch of a time to get thru for 5 mins and then it was sold out at 7:05 in the morning. I would love to be able to make PS for me and my princess during our honeymoon as a surpise. At least I give her a real castle to dine in for once, right?? I'd also like to have something pre-delivered to our room before we check in-like flowers or something. Can I call ahead for something like that? Thx for any help or suggestions.....

The honeymoon consultant is part of our honeymoon package, that we booked with the disney cruise line. We got a package via fed ex from the honeymoon specalist, a few weeks ago. We are going in May, so if your package has the same kind of deal then you should be getting something from the honeymoon specialist 30-60 days before your arival. So far they have made all of my reservations for me, and since it is too early for them to make reservations at rest. in the the parks, I have told them were and when I want to eat, and they are going to make those reservations, when it is 60 days before. Hope this info helps, you might check the disney weddings and honeymoon site, to see if your plan includes a honeymoon consultant, I think that all of the honeymoon plans through disney do.

ariel, the preferred fireworks viewings were part of our Honeymoon Discovery Magic package. I'm not sure if they are part of all the honeymoon packages or not. The honeymoon consultant made the reservations for us, and we got the vouchers with the rest of our tickets in the mail. The actual areas for the fireworks are at the boat launch in Morocco for Illuminations and at the Rose Garden near the castle for Fantasy in the Sky.

hogie1, there is a Deluxe Magic package and a Honeymoon Deluxe Magic package. Only with the Honeymoon version do you get the consultant. You also get honeymoon watches and pins and a few other goodies. If your package isn't the Honeymoon version and you want it to be, call AAA and ask them to switch you (it'll be a little more expensive). I also just found the phone number for the WDW Florist for you, it's (407)827-3505 :)

Chef's table @ V&A. Bar none best restaurant I've had the pleasure of patronizing in the entire world.
Cheers!
