I prefer uncensored music as well.
Some songs I prefer the radio version. I’m not a fan of the n word in songs at all.
The amount of pearl clutching on this thread is very telling lol
goodness, lol,
I just see it as a couple who want THEIR wedding day to be an adult only event. Its very likely the couple became exasperated during the planning stages trying to accommodate guests wishes and had enough and decided well its OUR day, so we will play the music WE like, and oopsie its not family friendly and your kids should not be here, as they were not invited.
X rated does not = porn, and those who immediately came to that conclusion, well you must have very little knowledge of music genres.
There a a HUGE amount of popular songs which dont have any swear words but are not innocent and defiantly NOT family friendly.
People should look at the lyrics for the following songs
- Prince - Little Red Corvette
- Britney Spears - If You Seek Amy
- The Spice Girls - 2 Become 1
- Lilly Allen - Not Fair
- 50 Cent - Candy Shop
Wow, these songs are downright tame by my standards. We’d have to be getting into 2 Live Crew territory or something before I’d start worrying about grandma’s delicate sensibilities.goodness, lol,

So how exactly are you finding articles such as this?
A Buzzfeed article about non-traditional weddings included this gem:
"We told our DJ that we insisted on explicit tracks being played at our reception — we'd already put a disclaimer on our invitation that said, 'We love your kids, but we didn't invite them."
Not inviting kids is fine. Insisting on songs with explicit lyrics, hmmmm. No thanks.
Did they show porn films and have strippers too?

See, and that song would have all the middle-aged moms out on the dance floor so fast...Red Angie did not choose the article finding life. It chose her.
I can see not editing out some explicit lyrics if they actually come up. But deliberately insisting upon them.
Then again nothing says loving like... La la la la la it's the (redacted) D O double G. Snooop Dooooooooooooog!!!!
I'd politely decline that wedding invite.
They’re gonna be sorry when Grandma gets her freak on in front of everyone.
Oh I get it.... my dance moves are now called "grandma getting her freak on" huh? How 'bout Grandma just freaking everyone out moves!!
