Kathy, we have a few days that cross next year with Jenn, Bob and the kids. I too hope that Jenn's sister gets to go. I know that they will have an amazing time with Jenn and Bob showing them Disney.

Oh my gosh, I just got all teary eyed at that update, Bob is a gem!! Who cares waht hotel you would be in if you were all together right?! How sweet! Would be amazing for the cousins to experience WDW together!

ahh, yes, I know where you are! and yes, he is a super gem. i got teary eyed too..well balled actually! he is so incredibly kind hearted that it has me in awe most days! and i agree, i dont care where i stay. id be in wdw with all my fav people!

I would be lying if I said that being a step-parent is not difficult. She is a GREAT kid and loves me a lot, I just have a hard time finding my "place" in this situation. Not wanting to replace her mom, but finding my "own" role. (I have a hard time sometimes when things are not clear and dry, when there are shades of grey) It doesn't help that she is SUPER EXTRA affectionate and I'm not used to this at all (never hugged my parents passed the age of 4). I'm trying very hard to make it work though, and DFiance is great at helping me at my own pace.
That is awesome that you took the role on though! Bob is lucky in the sense that he has known both my children since birth, and they both adore him! but it is still a challenge for him, and all of us trying to figure out roles. It helps that bob loves kids and has always wanted a family and knows my kids though

Just read your new update and it looks like you are going to have a great cast. Very happy for you that your sister and nephew are coming. I'm sure it's going to be a magical experience for the both of them.

Ron and I had a date night too when we went last year, it was amazing. Enjoy that little bit of free time.

thank you i feel fantastic now, and I so wish I could clone him. honest to god, he has been my bff forever and I didn't even know that a man like him existed. as a bff he did, but bff to bf is different. hes just SO wonderful. I literally wake up every morning and pinch myself. I still cant believe it is all happening. he says he feels the same way.. no one has EVER made me feel as special as he does. its amazing. i truly wish these feelings for everyone I know!

OK, well I have given you the cast, the crew, the who, now it is time for the where, when, and why!!

*Excuse lame update, sinus headache has struck *

The Where:

When Bob and I first started talking about a trip, I showed him the official WDW site. After poking around for a bit, his eyes lit up when he came upon AKL! He liked many of the places, but this was the place that he really seemed into! So this my friend is where we are staying..as of now anyways! I won't lie, I have never been more excited about a Disney trip ever! The kids and I adore AKL! Staying there would be a dream come true for me

When you ask?
September 9-22 Yes, almost 2 weeks!!! Bob gets the time off from work, and since we are driving we are staying for the long haul!

Why?
Bob knows how much I love WDW, and he and I have always wanted to go there together! Now not only do we get to go together, but we are together and going! Throw free dining in there and what more could you ask for!

Dining Plan?
Upgraded from the free regular plan to the Deluxe Dining Plan Yes,, I am aware this is a lot of food! It will be my third time on the DxDP and I find it is fabulous for my family! and you can't tell by h ow skinny he is, but Bob can eat like a super human! Ask Sophias husband Joe, he couldn't believe how much that tiny man could eat


As for the rest of the cast I mentioned, Jophia are currently booked at WL, butu hoping for a resort pin code so they can switch to the Poly!!! So everyone please keep your fingers crossed and send them some pixie dust!

My sister Stacy and my nephew will be staying at a value resort. I have my heart set on all star movies for them! It is my fav of the values..well I've only been there and music, but I just love the theming of this one! They will also be receiving free dining. QS, but will upgrade to the regular plan!

Next up, dining choices!

I'm also a momma, marginally inked (2) but I keep thinking I want more. For sure my wedding date and kids' b-dates but I keep thinking I want to get thinner first.

I would have loved to stay at AKL and we were thinking about it for January BUT, now my parents are joining us for some of the trip and they really wanted OKW villa, so that's what we're doing. Just means we'll have to have another trip.

It's just that I feel like those younger years really are the "formative years" where things are changing and evolving a lot. Instead now I come into a very established life).

And of course you are not a mean parent!! Everyone needs some time alone/with their partner, especially parents! It helps keep the flame alive between the partners.

Wow, the deluxe dining plan. Even though my fiance LOVES to eat, the heat in Disney really affected his appetite and we would have had WAY too much food. I'm sure we would have enjoyed trying out all the different places though. He does really enjoy looking at food porn when he is here.

Each trip we have gone on has increased by a day (1st trip 7, next 8, this one is 9n/10d!!!!!) so the next one will have to be 2 weeks...even if I go down by myself with the kids before DH! I would love to stay at WL, or even AKL. We wanted to stay at either this time, but the price was $900 more and since I am working OT to pay for the trip and we got a new van (with car payment) in November, value it was! That's the BEST thing about WDW....it will always be there, so even if it is 4 years till we get back (it will be sooner or I will go batty! and then we will end up paying a lot more as Cody will be 10 and an adult in Disney's eyes) it will be there......and we have plenty of time to save up for a Deluxe trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FOr now, I will just have to enjoy hearing about yours!
