I can't stop thinking about that feeling I got during the 2 mile fun run. Right when I saw the finish line. I was tired and I was jogging. I wanted to walk. But I was doing it. I was completing a race. People were cheering for me. It was awesome. I think I am addicted. I got on active.com last night and am very close to signing myself up for about 8 more races. :love:

Eating Goals
1. I ate within my points range ;).
Things I could have done without:
almond joy :rolleyes1
ice cream cone at mcdonalds :guilty:
small slice of ice cream cake :guilty:
5 chips with sour cream and onion dip

2. I ate 1 servings of fruits and veggies
lettuce on turkey sandwich
3. I had 8 glasses of water!
4. I had no fried foods today!

Exercise Goals
1. Did no formal exercise today but walked around with the consumers at the mall for about 25 minutes. I guess that counts :Pinkbounc
2. Did not stay up and active most of the day. Our van transportation for the consumers for day treatment quit so now I have to go pick everyone up from the group homes around west mobile before class and bring them home. Same for the afternoon group.

I don't remember if I put in here about my job. I work at Mobile Mental Health. I am a behavioral specialist (everybody say OOOOOOOOO). It means I do classes for and take consumers on outings during day treatment(the morning program) and RDP(the afternoon program). I loved it when I first started :love: back when we were fully staffed. Now I feel like I'm going crazy :crazy: because it's just me and the Therapist. There is supposed to be a Therapist plus three workers (pref. two Behavioral Aides and a Behavioral Specialist). I have to either do groups or outings all day as well as transport my people in a huge van 3 times a day. Somewhere in there I am supposed to do my paperwork :lmao: :rotfl: :happytv: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: . But I digress.......... Anyway does anyone know how you can change your screen name, because I might need to have some semblance of anonymity if I am going to talk like this on here.
 
Zela, its great to see you posting agan. Congrats on your upcoming 1 year anniversary with your boyfriend. :banana: It sounds like you two had a blast at Disney. Sorry that your work has been stressful. I hope things improve for you. Great job on getting back on track with your eating and workouts.

Great job on the water! Also, I am so excited to hear about the great romance that has come along. You're a great person and you deserve someone great!

I can see where your job could get crazy. Employer's sometimes have a way of cutting back on staff and overbooking others. It's a shame, but hopefully some of it will work out for you soon.

45 baked lays chips(since they aren't too bad for you I went a little crazy :crazy: )

about 8 cups of watermelon (it was an entire half of a melon :crazy: )

Exercising Goals
1. Walked around in Walmart for about 1.5 hours. It wasn't a fast pace but I am counting it as my exercise:teeth:
2.Wasn't up and active most of the day. I transported consumers again and also did anger :furious: management and team solutions classes during the first half of the day. I sat on my tush while I was doing these classes. :confused3

I need to add back my bible study goals. I want to start back reading my bible and attending church regularly. We've been going most Sundays but I have just fallen out of the habit of having my quiet time every day. Anyone that would like to is welcome to pray for me about these things. :grouphug: Thanks in advance.

I know I said I wasn't going to eat anything after I got done posting yesterday, but I ended up eating a Reese's peanut butter cup. :guilty: After I ate it I also wanted to eat a couple of slices of bread and some hugs and kisses but I restrained myself. I guess I just need to focus on PROGRESS not PERFECTION........

So far today I have had 2 cups of watermelon and about 20 baked lays. I plan to have a chicken fried rice banquet meal for lunch. It only has 7 grams of fat. I also plan to have about 2 more cups of watermelon for a snack this afternoon and maybe a turkey sandwich and a banana for supper. Today I might try to eat 3 less points to cover the reeses from yesterday. Even doing that I should still have about 2 or 3 left to play with. I'll see ya'll later!

Today was a long day at work. I tried to eat healthy most of the day because I knew I was getting pizza tonight. The pizza is coming at 8:15 and today I have eaten:
1pc whole wheat light sara lee bread .5
1 fruit and yogurt parfait 3
2 oreo cookies 2 :teeth:
1c strawberries 1
1c pineapple 1
5 bbq pringles 1 :guilty:
2pc whole wheat light sara lee bread 1
1 small pc jack links terriyaki beef jerky .5

I know I won't be completely on point for tonight, but my plan is to eat 2 slices pan ham and 2-4 hot wings. If I stop after the pizza I will be on point, but I do want some hot wings to. Maybe there is some lettuce in the fridge. If there is I'll make sure to get some to eat along with my pizza. I wonder if I am ambitious enough to eat only one slice of pizza and lots of lettuce and then a few hot wings. Anyway, I'll write back and report what I did.
 
Oh yeah, and plans for tommorrow. My sis is coming to visit with my nephew tommorrow. There will be food involved. I'm thinking I might decide to eat half of a cinnabon with her and then eat sensible at lunchtime and dinner. That is the general plan. Either a cinnabon or a cinnamon sugar pretzel. You are so right, this is all progress (and learning.....or is it re-learning?), not perfection. That sounds so familiar here.

At least you went in with a plan for the pizza last night. Give it a few more tries and I think that you will be successful. I know that I had gotten down to eating a salad and a couple of slices pizza at the PH buffet, so with some more experimentation, you can do it. :cheer2:

I didn't have near enough water. Me and my sister walked around shopping for about 4 hours. I counted 2 hours as exercise. Plus, most of the time I was holding my Sir Chubbs-n-stuff(a.k.a. my nephew) most of the time so that counts for weight training. :joker:

Lesli- I got halfway on my water so far. That's progress from yesterday! And I will probably end up drinking the rest before I go to bed. :woohoo: Thanks for the encouragement. :teeth:
