Love the brown with flowers...very cute.

OK I lied last question does anyone know where I can get DD 4 a petti in either red or black or white before Dec? All the places I have been told about we are already to far out to order from. :(

I also forgot to mention tht DH called me about 7 tonight to let me know he had found DS 1's nikes .... he had apparently thrown one in the trash. Which is his new thing to do with EVERYTHING! We are moving the trashcan now lol. I just have to rearrange the poor cat in the morning to make room for it lol.

I ordered one from thebelovedchild.com--sign up for the newsletters and she sends out coupon codes. The owner is really nice, and the petti is gorgeous. :) There are also lots of people who make them on etsy/ebay.

Someone PLEASE tell me 7 year olds get better!

I have been informed that 7 year olds:
1) KNOW everything
2)Can make mean faces at Mommy
3)Know MORE than grownups
4)Don't need to listen
5)Should be able to do what they want

Oh AND the Mommy of the 7 year old should do what the 7 year old wants ALL the time! :confused3

It gets better right?:scared1:

Oh no, they do this at 7 too??? Cuz mine has been like this since she could talk!!!

Linnette, I love this! I especially love the edging, what pattern is this?

)

Thank you so much!!! I am glad you like it as I am always so insecured, I did not use a pattern I made my own, it is really simple and I was done in less than 2 hrs!!
If you want I can mail you the pattern I made along with the instructions, just let me know:thumbsup2

Aww I love all these pictures. Looks like you guys had a fabulous ttime. Your DD is so cute!

That child is gorgeous! She needs to be modeling, seriously!

:lovestruc Awwwwwwwwwwww thank you so much Steph. (She does love to have her picture taken......of course sometimes I don't give her a choice...hahahaha). She has modeled two things for ebay sellers in the past...hahaha!

Those are awesome, you are amazing.

Okay your two little boys are so cute. Love the crabby shirts! :goodvibes

OK since we are close to make ADR's time I am going to ask about Dec. Does anyone want to do the Safari Grand Gathering on Dec 7th? It is DD's 5th bday and I really wanted to end it with this. We only need 3 people. There are 6 of us as of Dec we will be 37 34 15 13 5 and 1 almost 2. I do not think DS 1 counts toward the total though. Anyway if you are interested pm me please. I really do have pretty well behaved kiddos espeically in public lol.
Okay you must tell me...what is a Safari Grand Gathering????:confused3

Hopefully tomorrow I will be done with all my sewing and then I will take a break!!!

Wow that is adorable!!! Great job!!!

We just found out that we are going to be adding a new baby to our family. Our little finches have an egg in their nest. We are so excited, because we are going to be able to see how they take care of a baby.:cool1:

And, you still wear it, so take us a picture!

(and your post once again proves that it can be dangerous to skim through posts! I read this:
I wear it...and my wedding gown...quite frequently (for dress up with DH).
:scared1: :faint:

Oh thank you for that laugh. Crazy day here and I needed a good laugh! I will try to scan a wedding photo tonight..or take a dress up photo :rotfl:

I love the tiara photos. I don't have one nor Minnie ears. I can't believe I'm so underprivileged. LOL

Linette, I hope your burns heal quickly! Those look like they are very painful. I'm a real baby when it comes to burns.

Well, I've been keeping busy yet again. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when Zoe's out of school and I won't have those few hours alone any more. She is signed up for a school summer program in July so that will help. :)

I made this tee yesterday as a test of a new design. As you might notice, once again I'm trying to go bigger with the appliqué. LOL

I also did these for a friend. She'd asked for the Cat tee and jeans. Once the jeans were done, I realized they'd be perfect with a patchwork Mickey silhouette on a tee so threw that in as a surprise. She'll be doing photos of her son in them to help me out so I wanted to so a little extra for her.

Wow, those appliques are stunning!

Ok, this is a horrible pic, but it's the best one I have of me. We had a princess party at church to help the teens raise money for a project. And yes, I DID wear mine for pretty much the entire day even after I got home. You know, I think it helped with the sewing I did that afternoon.

Oh yeah, you're part of the cool club now! :cool1:

Has anyone ever seen Lobster fabric? DS b-day is coming up (July 4 - I was hoping for Canada Day, July 1!) And he wants me to make lobster soup (he asked for the recipe at Coral Reef!!), and wants a cake shaped like a lobster, and saw Paula Dean make some lobster salad on her show! :rotfl2: So I though I would make him lobster shorts! I went to my local quilt shop, and they don't have any! Know where I can find some? :confused3 I did find lobster shaped pasta at a gourmet shop though . . .

My local Hancock Fabrics store has lots of it. I was thinking about using it to make my grandpa a crawfish apron, cause they kind of look the same.

Love all the new outfits!! My husband is loading the suitcases in the van, we are off to Disney World for 10 days, check in the 8th, my birthday. I know I will have a lot of catching up to do when I get back.

I know it doesn't make it better but it sure helps to know Zoe is behaving like others her age (she'll be 7 in October). We've been doing a lot of talking about her attitude because it's getting to be a daily thing. I'm hoping it won't last much longer but I'm not holding my breath either. :rolleyes1

MICKSMOMMA: Have a great trip!! We'll see you when you get back!

Hey has anyone used the sewboutique for dolly patterns for the Fisher Price "sweet as me" dolls? I've checked their website and can't get the dimensions. They are the dolls little has. And I'm going to make my MIL make her some matching doll outfits. My in-laws used to have a doll shop and make ooak's, my father in law even sculpted some of them, but needless to say she is a pro at making doll clothes so I don't have to :thumbsup2

Okay...here is Kristine's "newbie" question of the day ;) If I was to purchase a pattern for a patchwork twirl skirt...would it help me with the math for figuring out how many squares I need? OR would I have to figure that out by myself (I'm a social worker...not a mathematician :rotfl: )
