In search of my body...not the one I ate! Part Deux... We sit at the popular table!

Okay here is what I have -

This wasn't my heaviest. It's 2005.

And I love this one. Because my lovely Mom - although I her - makes a terrific decoy, doesn't she?

And here's a pool shot. I can't believe I'm posting one!!!!

So here is after some weight loss. It's 2006 or 2007. Time flies. I just came back from WDW. I know because I'm usually white - well pink. It's me, my mom, one of my sisters and a visiting spirit on my sister's ****. Oh crap. You can't say ****. Can you say breast?

Well, now.

I don't know why I don't have many. And my camera battery is dead. And no moulah. So this one is this year but not a body shot. But you can see it in my face.

And it's the kind of shot that I say, "when the F@#@ did my hair look that good?" I don't remember that time.

Liz - you are a great mom. Moming is not easy. There is no "easy button" for moming.

Snarling at your child will not produce a book in 25 years. Opps, she's "your" daughter, it might produce a book, but we'll all laugh along and say, yeah, remember when...

Steph - I hope things work out and they leave the house!!!! Darn owners!

Liz - this might be my favorite thing about you. You are the so devoted to your friends. I can go back thru these 2 threads and find tons of times that went down just like this:

Me: "The cashier at the grocery store charged the wrong amount."

Liz: "I hate that cashier."

You crack me up with your passion. xo.

Oh, and I love flitting thru the grocery store without all the fighting and yelling.

I'm a perfectionist. And for me it translates from running away from what I see as failure instead of sticking it out. I hate the scale. I'm a big girl and big boned so it's not a nice tool for me. However, I am looking forward to being okay with posting small gains - which are always there on a weight loss journey. I want to face this head on.

Lisa, I struggle with this too. And I want, no need, immediate gratification. So, staying the course is EXTREMELY difficult. If I can't fix it right now, I don't bother.

Lisa i just wanted to say I FINALLY got my poutine today which I ate about 4 bites and was full, so I am bring the rest for dinner

I know. I know. It really is one of those four bites and you're done kind of thing. It really is. If only I could say that about my love for chocolate.

Yup my dad served in the Air Force. He fought in Korea and Vietnam. He was shot down in Korea and broke his back and leg... Went back to serve 3 tours in Vietnam. My dad was a die hard American. His brother died in WW2 so I think he always felt a connection to military because he idolized his brother. My hub was also Air Force... only for 3.5 years tho... He got an early out luckily... If not we wouldn't have ever met... hehe...

I got my diamond before I started here... I can't even afford our pricing with my discount... LOL!!!

Holy Hot Mama's - Lyz - simply stunning...love them eyelashes...and Lisa - that hair was great but you made me sigh with them pics of OKW!

I have football at 3:45 w/ Baylor...7pm with Treyner and I am having another garage sale...well...let's say I am selling all my Dad's crap he stored at my house for 5 years cause he just said he wants nothing back and there is loads of guy stuff for Hunting/Fishing...

I am not officially open till tom...but in this town people drive through streets just hoping for one...so with no signs and no advertising

$125 so far is not bad...

That will pay for the gas and tickets to Treyner's game an hour away!

I am a classic pear. But I think of it more like a barrel. I'm a barrel from my gut, down to my thunder thighs.

And, it probably helps that I'm doing my fat hiding stand.

Yeah, I have one of those poses, too. And when all else fails, grab one of the kids and put them in front of you. I have lots of shots of me from the chest up.

LISA--great to put a face with the name, thanks! I love the color of your hair. That is the color my hair used to be. Then I got pg and it went dark and stayed that way. Yuck. I like how it is right now b/c it is the end of the summer so I have tons of highlights (since I basically live outdoors all summer and the salt air does wonderful things).

LIZ--you must post yours when you can. Post the b&w before pics and then post the bikini pic (with sarong) as your after. Cause that is a jaw-dropper.

I love this post. Everything about it. First, you turned Mom into a verb. PERFECT. Cause that is what it should be, right?

Second, you are spot on about LIZ. Yes, she is a great mom and no, Emily will not be writing a tell-all book while in rehab at 23. AND...the last part! OMG, that is SO true. This is one of the many things I love about Liz...she is on your side, always. Period. Always.
