“Mommy, can we go see SNOW WIPE at DIZZY WORLD?! … PEEZZZ” A March 2010 PTR w/pics

Sounds like a great Day 2 plan!

I'm a super planner too but I draw the line at planning which rides we'll do when. I know the parks like the back of my hand, so we'll just make a list of highlights (like you) and work our way around...I don't want to be too rigid b/c I'm already going to be pushing it to get to rope drop most days.

Plus I want to relax & not be a drill sargeant for the trip, you know?

I think you're very clever to build in some extra cushion w/ your plans :thumbsup2

Yeah, you don't want to scare off your friends.. :lmao: I'm going to need to learn how to compromise on this trip, there's too many other people to consider and not everyone is going to agree. We've also discussed that it's okay for us to split up for a little while if need be.

I forgot to add that the little *'s indicate the rides that the baby can go on with us... That's what I LOVE about disney!! I'll have a 3 month old baby that can do more then 1/2 of the attractions....and the baby swap thing is so wonderful.

I love your must do's! I need to do that for my trip. :goodvibes

Thank you! ;)

Hey! Just read through your entire PTR and I'm really enjoying it so far! I love the way you do your must do's...I'm thinking of doing it like that for my upcoming trips, the way you wrote it all out gave me ideas!

First, I have to ask..I take it you and your sister in law made up after your CA trip, as you're going on this one together?:lmao:

The people I nanny for took their 3 month old on a plane in July. She was super nervous- she said she just put him on her **** on the way up and on the way down and he slept the entire time! I'm sure you could do this with a bottle to distract the little guy. She said everything went awesome!

About the parking dilema- I know at Bradley in Hartford, and also in Providence, they have a "park and ride" hotel room type deal. Now I don't know if this would be too much of a hassle with a baby and kids and everyone, but you pay one low price- in Hartford at La Quinta Inn and Suites is $89.00- for the night before your trip and to park for the entire time you are gone. This would mean you have to stay there the night before, but since you have to get to the airport early, maybe this would be helpful. They offer a continental breakfast and free transportation to and from the airport, along with baggage assistance. What I always do is pack an "overnight" bag with what I need for one night- toothbrush, toothpaste, change of clothes- and then just leave it in my car in the morning before I leave. Sorry that's a whole lot of info but I figured I'd throw it out there :rotfl:

Your pictures are making me want to go to Disneyland- I've never been there and should take a trip there sometime!

Can't wait to hear more!

Actually different sister-in-law. ;) My brother's wife is the one I'm having problems with right now and my husbands sister is the one we're going to Disney with. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the compliments. :)

I'll have to check around and see if they have any hotels that offer a "park and ride" deal.?!? I've never heard of such a thing but it's worth checking into. "If" we're still living in my cond it wouldn't make much sense because we're closer to the airport then most hotels. DIA isn't like most airports, it's seriously in the middle of no-where.

I'm glad you like the Disney Photos, I'm going to post some more tonight.

Another Random Post ………..

So, if you notice my ticker below I’ve reached the DOUBLE DIGIT countdown of my pregnancy… I’m down to 99 days!!! :woohoo: Sometimes I wonder how it’s physically possible for me to get much bigger? I have 14 weeks to go and am scared at what my belly is going to look like at the end of those 14 weeks. Sleeping is almost impossible these days and I get up to pee between 6-10 times a night. :sad2: At the same time I LOVE it though. It’s so amazing to sit here and feel my little boy move and grow inside me. It’s truly a miracle and I appreciate every moment of it…:cloud9: ((even when he kicks my bladder, kidneys, and ribs when I’m trying to fall asleep at night. ))

On another note my little girl starts her very 1st dance class tomorrow! We’re both so excited for this new adventure in her life. I’ll be sure to post pictures when we get home.princess:

*******

Today I bought a bunch of Disney Pins on Ebay for our upcoming trip !!! I got 20 pins for $22.00 (including shipping) I’m so excited to see them!!! :yay:

I also bought this cute Tinkerbell lanyard. I haven’t decided who I’m going to give it to yet. I’ve actually thought about keeping it for myself and giving Pin Trading a chance, but I don’t think I want to be wearing a lanyard full of pins all day long while holding a 3 month old, just doesn’t seem like a great idea.:rolleyes1

When we took our last WDW vacation back in September 2007 I bought this book for Reya.

It’s been sitting up in my closet since then. I just happened upon it last week when I was organizing my closet. :woohoo: Reya has had me read it to her every night since and she can’t seem to get enough. It’s the cutest book ever and I love that it’s getting her all psyched and prepared for Disney…… I’m going to try and see if she’ll settle for Cinderella tonight though. :rotfl2:

Okay, well that’s it for my rambling today! Thanks for reading.

:hyper: Glad I found you and I have LOTS of catching up to do. :surfweb: And you know my motto: It's never too early to start a pre-trip report! :goodvibes

Congrats on being in the double digits! I promise you'll get through it, your belly is going to get so much bigger! Side note- I have no babies of my own but i majored in child development/early childhood education in college and have been working with infants/toddlers for going on 5 years now, so I have a facination with the first 5 years of development.

And I think it's so funy how Reya had no hair in the pictures at Disneyland, now she has such beautiful hair! When I was at the daycare, I had a little girl who had no hair..her mother used to try her hardest to put little bows in it...eventually she was just like GROW YOUR HAIR DARNIT!:rotfl:

Thank you!!!! ...... Child development would be an awesome Major, that's what I was thinking about doing back in the day.. Being pregnant and having children is the most rewarding job in the world.... I LOVE IT!

I swore Reya was NEVER going to get hair. :rotfl2: Once I gave up on it, it started growing like a weed. :confused3 I'm excited to get her 1st haircut at Disney... The only page in her baby scrapbook that isn't filled is the ""MY FIRST HAIRCUT" :lmao:

AWESOME PHOTOS!!!

Thanks so much for posting your Halloween photos of Disneyland...they get me really excited about my upcoming trip (we're doing MNSSHP and actually I'll be out of the country for Halloween this year, so it's good I'm doing it early!)

And congratulations about your healthy pregnancy so far! It must be so precious just to have that connection w/ your baby before he's born. And don't worry about getting big, you're not big, you're pregnant and adorable and it just means your baby is growing like he should be!! :thumbsup2

Oh my!!! I need that book for Gabe - it is the CUTEST!!! Is it only available at the parks?

Great DL pics as usual. I actually didn't have any hair either until after I turned 3 - apparently this is a sore issue with my mother who wanted to put bows in my hair. I have tons of hair now though. :rotfl:

AWESOME pics. I love how they decorate WDW for Halloween, but WOW DLR looks amazing! :thumbsup2 And so cool, how different the HM is at DLR, definitely need to visit now!!

And like Joy, I would love to know where you got the Mickey & Bear book, my DS would loooove it!! :goodvibes

DisneyMomLiz - We have a lot in common! I also live nearby Disney...about 122 miles away, I'm visiting WDW in Sept too and also my name is Liz. It's a small world after all, it's a small world...well, you know what I mean!

Hello everyone!!

So I've been out of the house busy all day and I just walked in about 10mins ago.... Reya had her first dance class today and I got to buy some fun Disney Stuff for our trip. I want to share everything with you all but I need to jump in my PJS and download some pictures. I will be back in a few mintues with an update, pictues, and to respond to your previous posts.

So………………………….

DD Reya had her very first dance class today, it’s s milestone in both our lives. She was so adorable and eager to learn!

Here’s some pictures I took. Unfortunately they aren’t the best. The parents weren’t allowed in the actual classroom today because the dance instructor didn’t want us to distract the little tykes on their 1st day. So we had to sit outside what they call the “fishbowl”

((She’s the one in the black))

We both had such a wonderful day!! Daddy met us before class and he watched his little princess with me. He plans on getting off early every Wednesday so he can be there each and every time. Afterwards we went to dinner and bought Reya an ice cream cake from DQ and did some Disney Shopping at the Dollar Tree!!

Here’s some pictures of our goodies

Some really great coloring books plus Tinkerbell and Winnie the Pooh crayons for Reya. Got the princess puzzle book for one of the nieces?!?

What I got for my note taking on the trip

I’m thinking of using these now… we’re trying to teach Reya her Alphabet, numbers, and shapes! I found these and thought they were a GREAT idea.

Okay…that’s it for now!! Gotta get to your previous posts.

BYE!!

Yay Reya! Its so funny that all the other little girls were in blue and pink w/ Reya in the proper ballet colors - I took 7 years of ballet and we always wore black leotards and pink tights. ;)

Wow! It looks like you got an awesome stash from the dollar store...score!!

AWE!!! You're so sweet, thank you!!! And yes it is precious, I love feeling him move and squirm around in me all day.

I'm glad you like the photos, I'll post more Halloween ones tonight or tomorrow!! It's great that it's getting you excited for your trip!

It's an awesome book... To my understanding you can only buy them in the park and that was 2 years ago, hopefully they still sell them. It's so adorable, each page shows Mickey and his bear on ALL the rides at Magic Kingdom and the last page shows them watching the fireworks at the end of the night.

I used to get mad at the fact that my DD didn't have any hair, but now that she has it I secretly wish she didn't because it takes to much time to do .. I miss the days that we could just get dressed and walk out the door because she was bald. :lmao:

It was amazing....they were in the process of decorating while we were visiting so every morning there would be something new added... I LOVED IT... I'll be sure to post more of the halloween photos since you all like them so much.
