take your beverages, and that becomes more possible...but you'll feel warmer, anyway!:lmao:

Okay, so our trip keeps changing around, now we are thinking to do All Star Music for 25th and 26th, then move to WL concierge level for the rest of the time, and I am buying 7 day tickets through my job, can get 7 day with park hopper and water park for $329 each. Of course that means I can't get the dining plan, so I'll just start buying disney gift cards to use for food, and I figure with the club level, we won't need breakfast ressies, or probably as much budgeted for drinks, either.. so how do we get you guys up on our floor to "visit"?

Don't worry about us Kristi I wouldn't feel comfortable up there. Its just not me but thanks for thinking of me!!:goodvibes

I'm not sure we will either, T, but its free drinks in the evenings, free continental breakfast in the mornings, and it was less than $200 to upgrade for the 4 days, so I figure probably worth that for that reason.

Now that would be an experiment I think we should try.. Worst case we can get lost!!! :rolleyes1

At this point I wish I could get lost to a 3 month spa where someone can whip me into shape and I never had to cook a meal!

I would definately do this if you could swing it. I just want to do it once someday! I keep waiting for a free upgrade...but that is like waiting for my trip to a three month spa!:rotfl2:

Then I am going there! Will it freeze my thighs off too?:teeth:
I HATE the cold, but if that is the case, I could learn to tolerate it!

That sounds awesome, Kristi! It would be so cool to have all that just down the hall!

Thanks, guys. I keep going back and forth, but the price is too close to the same with the CL, I can't imagine it wouldn't be worth it to have the club lounge, especially as they stock Yuengling, which Rick loves, so he can drink that for free from the lounge, and we're not huge breakfast eaters, so the muffins and bagels, etc should be fine for most of the breakfasts, though I am keeping Kouzzina breakfast ADR, we really love that one. I figure this will keep us to one TS meal most days, 2 on the 27th and possibly 2 or 3 on the 30th...but should keep the food costs down to a reasonable level. Plus the tickets were a good price so I was saving a little bit there too.

Cool!
I have heard that they have some really good soups/stews put out with the appetizers in the evenings too. Not sure how much you will want soup in May, but I am a soup lover!

I started a PTR!!! :banana::banana::banana::banana:

Then I got timed out at the lodge and it erased everything I wrote so I guess I have to start over again tomorrow.. OOPS :teeth:

 Today was supposed to be the first day of midterms. But, we got a snow day instead. (Even though there's no snow and we still had to go to school last time IT ACTUALLY SNOWED. But, hey, one more day to study)

I still see smilies.....
As long as you don't see dead people, we are good.:rolleyes1

We have a lot of ice here. As of 6:30, the kids had a 2 hr delay, by 7:30 it was cancelled. I am glad I decided to check the website again!:surfweb: This is their last snow day...if we miss any more, they will be going longer in June.:headache:

Good luck on your midterms, Allie!

T, that's awful! But now that you're home, you can start it again, right? ;)

I see the smilies too!

Rick is actually really excited about CL now, he looked it up and found out he can have Yuengling beer and that during the dessert/cordials he can have Kahlua, Drambuie, Amarula, Grand Marnier, Bailey's... also that they have REAL coffee.

I leave tomorrow to go visit my Aunt and see how everyone is doing. Hopefully I will have good news to report when I return.

Plus the weather down there is 82 degrees everyday we are gone! no snow or cold in sight!

Well we are back from visiting my Dad and Aunt Pat down in Mission, Texas....

First off, my Aunt is in ok spirits. She does not leave her house, she does not go anywhere or do anything but go to the Dr Appointments. She is recovering fine from the surgery, but she is not motivated to do anything. The surgeon told her to move around and walk and build back some energy but no one can get her to do anything.

They removed the baseball size tumor from her colon, and the 8 inches of colon. The spots on her liver and lungs turned out to be Apple sized spots on her liver and lungs. they will not remove them because they are on the front and back of her liver and front side of her lung.

It was confirmed that it was Ovarian Cancer and she did have a complete hysterectomy 26 years ago. The Surgeon said that the cancer seed was planted prior to the hysterectomy and became active cancer about 3 years ago.

2 years ago she was scheduled for a colonoscopy, but the Dr could not get past a "Kink" in her colon. The kink was the cancer. The surgeon said if they had looked better at why they could not perform the colonoscopy she would be 2 years ahead of where she is now.

She will be taking chemotherapy, starting Wednesday, and it will last for 9 weeks. The Nurses and Dr.'s think that she will recover and be healthy. My Uncle and Father are very worried about her because she has lost 30 pounds since the operation and will not get up and do anything. She is 5'7" and down to 95 pounds. She promised me that she would get up and do things but I hate to see everyone so scared and worried.

She is the oldest of my Father's siblings and they all have had cancer now and she is the only girl.

Secondly, there was no warm weather! The high was 60 degrees on one day and the rest was upper 40's and low 50's while we were there, and everyone blamed us for bringing in the cold front. I never saw the sunshine.

Our planes were delayed last night and when we landed at BWI around 1 AM we skidded on the runway from all of the ice and scared a bunch of people on the plane. We got a 1/4 inch of ice which makes for a rough drive home.

But we are here and doing well.
