I had a castmember confirm to me two days ago that they ate getting new beds and that they will be queens. He didn't want to give me much more information though. I have to go to the concierge desk tomorrow and pick up our hoop tickets and will try to get more information on the new rooms. Some castmembers simply won't give up anything.

I don't get the secrecy and security. You think they would want to create as much excitement as possible around this refurb. I would actually be quite annoyed if a CM told me I couldn't have a look at what was going on.

I know. I had the same thing happen to me when we were at BC and POR during room refurbs. I was playing cat and mouse games with security trying to get a look. Never got a look at either. :confused3

The security guards would only say they were instructed to keep guests "safe" and away from the work area. The one guy even did the air quotes when he said safe.

The POR Concierge said they did not want pictures or descriptions out there until they were ready for guests to stay in the rooms. They wanted to wait until there was a finished product.

I didn't think to take pictures but will try to remember to take my camera when I go back to the food court. There was toll work going on in Jamaica 41 this morning but they have all gone home for the day it looks like. I walked through building 42 to see if I could see over in the building 41 rooms. Couldn't see much but I can tell that the light fixtures are different. There are white grate looking things propped against the windows. Not sure what they are but they ate in almost every room that I saw. My husband has laughed so hard at me every time I go by to sneak a peek. He says I I am going to get approached by the security guard and go to Disney jail all because of the disboards.

Thanks so much! That was me asking about the snacks. ;-) But I'm also loving the construction updates - I requested Jamaica 45 and 44 for our December trip and really hoping we get it.

In addition if word gets out that certain buildings or rooms are completed they will get bombarded with requests for those locations.

Having a great time! My husband who has been in construction for years said they have to keep people out for liability insurance purposes. I can understand the need to keep people out of your way so you can work. My husband said it is absolutely frustrating having clients or others right on your heels when you ate trying to work.

Going to the food court in a bit and stopping at concierge desk for hoop tickets. Will see that if anything they will tell me.

Shoot I was just over there and saw the sign. I know that it closed at 11 p.m. but can't remember opening
