Major Rumor Marvel in ToT update page 25

I do NOT want another Frozen ANYTHING at DHS! Someone I know who worked in college program last year shared this with me so I have NO idea the source. But I am terrified, and do NOT want TOT messed with at all!

I'm over Frozen, there is enough of it, TOT does not need a frozen make over, leave it alone!

DH and I are headed to WDW in Oct for a kidless trip and don't have DHS on our plans since it seems like a construction zone right now. Last summer AK was this way and we didn't enjoy it. So giving AK another chance and giving DHS a break.

Ok there is no way possible that this is true.

With that said it was a huge success and frozen "mania" was justified. I wouldn't necessarily say there is enough frozen though. That's more of a personal opinion. When you think of it frozen will have Olaf meet at DHS and the ride and meet in Epcot. That's really not a lot of frozen.

Actually, isn't the sing-along in DHS still open? And they'll be in the new Castle Show. And are in the daytime parade. The FROZEN summer fun stuff did make for a lot of Frozen last two years, but generally I would agree with you that Frozen is not really overdone in the parks...but I do think it needs to settle out at this point. Frozen is probably having the greatest backlash of any property in quite a while - though still very popular.

Yes forgot about the sing a long. I agree with what you said. I just find that when people say there is so much frozen it's not really true. You could say the same for The Little Mermaid (ride, parade, show, meet and greets).

Yeah - when we were out in DL for Pain The Night, and the 60th fireworks - I told DW each time "Oh, here comes the mandatory "Little Mermaid" portion. Followed by the mandatory "Frozen" portion." But yes, Little Mermaid has more presence than even Frozen, but you rarely here complaints about it.

Personally I think there's far too much Mickey in the parks. They shove him into everything! When are they going to realize it's just a fad?

Everyone has already said the oddysey article is almost definitely false, but in case anyone isn't aware the oddysey online isn't really a credible source for anything, one of my friends wrote for them, and they have a sort of competition where whoever has the article that gets shared the most from their college gets I think 20 dollars. I know she really liked it as a hobby and it got her into writing, and a lot of the writers are very talented, but everything there should be taken with a grain of salt. Sorry for my atrocious writing style, clearly I am not any kind of writer

Hi, I've been following this thread for awhile and decided to add my two cents . I personally don't think the WDW TOT is going anywhere for awhile at least not till Star Wars Land is finished because until then it's the only ride really bringing a draw to HS (I mean Toy Story and R&R are great but not as huge as TOT). Furthermore I really don't think WDW has a need for Marvel because nobody is going to go there just for Marvel, if a person wants a Marvel vacation they are going to Universal. In DL though I can totally see it happening as well as other various Disney Parks around the world. As for the Frozen rumor I wouldn't buy it simply because I think right now Epcot is going to be the sister's new kingdom. Sorry for novel here's some cute emojis as a treat for those that read it

And bad, as in Stitch's Escape, or bad meaning inappropriate, such as taking over Splash Mountain?

It's unclear right now. Both sources said they would reveal more when they are able. I'd also like to mention that DCA ToT should still be getting the guardians overlay.

I'd think another park seeing as there's really nothing (except RnRC) that could be overlayed unless they really wanna drop a bomb.

The upcoming Big Thunder Mountain Railroad refurb is to re-fit it for a The Lone Ranger theme overlay.

Well actually the original rumor is still there for DCA. It's just always been less likely for DHS.

With as volatile as Disney is right now, seeing these "rumors" change can't be that big a surprise for you. Not to mention there was a huge backlash at Disney when this rumor first hit.

I'm more laughing at the new rumor. The fact that someone would even bother to say - "something else is being discussed, but I can't tell you what it is yet". It just stating the obvious and telling you nothing, while still having their ego stroke that they are provided "inside information". Wouldn't you think Disney is constantly DISCUSSING new ideas for new rides and plussing of old rides? It's what I call a non-rumor rumor. It tells you nothing.
