I really loved the drummers at TTC and the choir (I fought back tears actually at that point).
Could you ride the carousel at MK? I saw it running but no riders....and I was curious!
I'm not sure about the carousel, but I want to say no. I feel like their rule of thumb is that you can ride rides during regular park hours only - during the marathon, for example, the MK is early and they'll have the Teacups going, carousel and I think even the Mine Train, but no one rides since it's about 7AM. The first ride available is Everest - most people are passing through right as AK opens and can hop on to ride.
I feel like it's likely an issue of not having the rides fully staffed since the parks aren't technically open yet, but I could be wrong.
I know our 2:30 pace group really tried to have proper race etiquette, but it didn't always happen because people just won't move over to the right if they are a slower runner or walking. There was also the issue with groups of people stretching across the entire course instead of rows of two.
She posted a pic on a princess Facebook page. Breezy little "sorry" to anyone she might have hit with her wings. I refrained from commenting. But if that guy who starts dead last and counts his "kills" (people, mainly women of course, he passes) posts there again I WILL comment. I saw him and his shirt in the line for beer and there were several of us (strangers) talking about how offensive that is.
Ugh, yes. I saw his post in one of my groups and I found the whole concept frustrating. Seemed like some people really got into it, but I'm not a fan.
Oh I couldn't have done it at 15, either. I ran with my big dog, but not huge distances, and only fast in short bits.
I'm not even religious but the gospel singers get to me. You're just SO CLOSE by that point. I once saw it described as something like..."when you hear gospel you're almost done or you're dead...either way your run is basically finished."
I have this in the generic runDisney version (wearing it right now actually) and it is pretty true to size. It is sort of athletic fit but I bought the size I am in t-shirts and it is quite comfortable. I love this top, highly recommend!Did anyone buy this sweatshirt over the weekend? Is it true-to-size?

Thanks, super helpful! It's on the Shop parks app and I have a merchandise credit I can use toward it that I couldn't use in the parks. I love the snack boxes too. The salty chips and cheese hit the spot after a run, ditto to the applesauce. Oreos for laterI loved the snack boxes after the 5K & 10K. I could have eaten gobs of that fake cheese and tortilla chips. They were a bit different after the 1/2. They had a different protein bar instead of the Clif bar and a trail mix instead of cranberries.
