2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 31, 2017 - November 13, 2017

Is the Festival Center the place you go to pick up a passport, Remy's Scavenger Hunt and the Disney wristband gift card? I'm trying to figure out where I need to go when I first enter the park. I'm trying to get these three things first. Thanks!

You can get those things there, but you don't have to. They're available all around World Showcase. For example: "Simply purchase your map and stickers from select Festival merchandise locations—including the Festival Center, Pin Central, Disney Traders or World Traveler at International Gateway."

I am a newly to the Food & Wine festival and I was reading about the Vouchers (Coupons). Can they all be used just on drinks? and can two people share one pack of coupons?

What are the portions of the drinks when you use the coupons? are they the same as a regular purchase.

Thank you in advance!

The Samplers (coupons) can be used on food or drinks but they are best used on items costing more than $8.65 to save you money and the majority of these items are drinks. The drink size is the same whether you use a coupon or pay for them and yes, 2 people(or more) can share the samplers.

Thank you so much!

Are there any must do booths or drinks?

And what is there to do with kids, will they enjoy it as well?

I think there's a Remy scavenger hunt, maybe called Hide and Squeak? It should be on the main F&W page on the Disney World site.

Must do booths - if you like seafood, do Coastal Eats! The scallops and crab cake were both :worship:

I'd also vote for Avocado Crema at Active Eats. Delicious dessert, not too sweet, very light, interesting, refreshing.

I didn't think I'd really enjoy either of these booths because they seemed so ~normal~ but it turns out Disney does normal really well.

Need a little help. I've never done PFTS before. What is the wardrobe expectation? Fancy cocktail dress, casual sundress, jeans and a t-shirt? It's my first time doing the Trader Sam's event too. Am I suppose to adhere to a certain dress code there or is it totally casual? Any help is appreciated!

Well I kind of remember at one time seeing a suggestion for dress the same as if you were going to a signature restaurant, which I totally agree with. The last few times I wha even went I have seen more people than ever wearing jeans and men wearing shorts which to me is disappointing because it is a nice event and to me dressing up even just slightly keeps that feeling. I personally wear a cocktail dress or a nice summer dress and hubby wears dockers and a button up shirt or a nice polo. But the end answer is you will see people in suits and dressy dresses all the way to shorts and jeans. It is a big mix. I just make sure I am nice looking but comfortable since I walk around a lot at PFTS and for th first time last year and danced the night away too!

It's Disney. People wear whatever they want. I'm going to wear jeans and a Disney shirt, and my daughter will probably wear a dress. You should wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing, and people shouldn't judge you based on what you choose to wear.

Best day at epcot!!!

:offtopic: I love your screen name!! All of the sudden I'm feeling the necessity to watch some Sherlock! (I'd be absolutely torn between Sherlock and the Great Mouse Detective after seeing your screen image but I don't have that one ;) ) Time to go see if Sherlock is still on Netflix so I have something to binge while I pack for a trip tonight...
ETA: yes, yes it is. Commencing binge.

Remys have been moved indoors in gift shops...found all but Morocco and Outpost... (too late, ran out of time)

We were able to get our 'prizes'....there are 4 to chose from.
[Can't get pic to upload....too big.....rrrrr]

Many people will be dressy. I usually do khaki or nice grey pants with a rolled up long-sleeves shirt. Yes, some people will be very casual, but most won't. And it's supposed to be a fun fancy party, so at least be festive.

What didn't you like about the shrimp taco? That one's on my to-do list (but low on the list, as shrimp tacos are easily obtainable where I live).

The pork slider from Hawaii has been my favorite the two times I have gone to F&W. Good to know it is still hanging in there. I also have the cheesecake from Hawaii on my list to try.

I'm curious: Anyone try the shrimp scampi dip? Scampi is my favorite thing and I'm really looking forward to trying it. But I saw at least one review that said it was pretty much just butter.

If this was to me, I
Mexico had a beef rib eye taco and separately Chipotle shrimp.
They were fine but weren't special. Especially compared to everything else we ate.
