Another lovely day in Oklahoma. . .

Not to be a downer but being a HUGE country music fan I am just sickened by last night events. Of course you don't have to be a HUGE country music fan to be sick over this carnage. :sad1:

I'm not a country music fan, but I agree. I have family that lives in Vegas, too, so I had to reach out to make sure they were safe. Thankfully they are. I really don't understand this world we live in sometimes.

Jevs is not allowed to go missing. We have too many missing ALDIO members already. Boo, hiss! Come back, Jevsie. Here's breakfast:

You called!?

I have no stories

I've been the most boringest person in the entire world - apart from being bedridden for 2 weeks with flu and having to spend money on stupid car and even worse, on a new washing machine.

Yikes, sorry to hear of all that Jo. Things will start looking up now that you're back here with us!;) Soooo...I guess..."Tell us all about your new washing machine???":duck: Or perhaps not, wouldn't want to get you agitated:jester:

It's white. Square. Front loader. Takes 28 minutes to do a normal load. Is both energy and water saving. Has some pet hair remover program. Cost me $700 urgh.

Hi Jo! So glad you came back to play with us!! I bought a washing machine this summer, also, so I'm sure we could have fun talking about our washloads!!!

Sorry you were down and out with the flu but glad you're now feeling better. Ron's been doing real well keeping this thread going and "liking" all of us.

ETA......and now I see why my like count went up. ;)

Our washer & dryer have an aluminum finish. Washer is top-load, dryer front load. No idea how long any of it takes as the laundry room is across the hall from DWs home office and she is in charge of it. Disclaimer: I would happily assume responsibility for doing the laundry but I am not allowed to participate. I think it has something to do with the time I put DDs dry-clean only riding suit through the wash.:rolleyes1

Yay!!!!!! So glad to see you back here, Jevs! We've MISSED you!

So sorry you've had the flu. Yuck! Hope your kids took good care of you - - and didn't catch it themselves.

Must be something in the water. We had to buy a new washer, too, recently. It's just a cheap-ish top load, and it sounds like a printer, but I LOVE it!

My DH can relate. He also washed some things of mine that were not supposed to be washed. I bought replacements. I'm a strong believer in letting natural consequences teach life lessons.
