Official Wine & Dine 2018

I looked at Frontier to check it out today and their times from Milwaukee are weird with long layovers. I need to get to Orlando before the expo closes on the 1st.
From Cleveland I can get non stops early morning going, but coming back I'd get in close to 11pm. I don't mind, but I'd better plan an easy day in the classroom for Tuesday. United coming home leaves early morning and since I have an AP I want to get as much out of it as possible. Plus I hate leaving early. United 1 way is almost as much as round trip.

Figment. Figment. A thousand times, Figment.
Figment might be the only one I'd ever stop for! He's forever my favorite Disney character. I like seeing the characters out as I run but I'm not a fan of actually stopping for photos.

I don't really like to do character meets in the parks/at meals either but I think I'm in the minority on that one :)

No parking fees are well in place now.
Wow, my brain is playing games with me then. Thanks, guess when we travel down it's no longer an extra few minutes at the car rental desk. Not if Disney is going to charge me to park there.:sad2:

Yes please :)!

Southwest is outrageous right now and only has dates open through Nov. 3rd.

Southwest is ridiculous right now! Over $200 one way to Orlando from BWI. I paid about $90 each way last year. Frontier announced direct flights out of Harrisburg but they are only flying twice a week and it's not the days I'm traveling. Ugh.

Yep it’s $260 to leave in the morning on Nov. 1st from Southwest. That’s insane.

All this makes one wonder if the airlines are now in kohoots with Disney for the UNaffordable "family" vacation. Add in those parking fees I just was corrected on if one wants to drive...:guilty:

That doesn’t make any sense to me. Orlando isn’t only for Disney either. Several other attractions reside in Orlando and people will fly into Orlando for cruising.

I have also been looking out of BWI and it is horrible. It will be much cheaper for me to flight out of my small town airport on the Eastern Shore of Maryland than drive to a larger city and airport at this time.

I just checked Harrisburg on American and that's $419 roundtrip, but I hate connecting! Or I could fly first class for $787! I guess I could look at flying out of Philly, but it's so much easier in my opinion to drive to BWI then to Philly.

I know I purchased tickets going out to MCO the day the tickets were released, luckily later that week they dropped in price by $20. Still way more then was expected, hopefully they will drop in price before May when the next dates are released.

This will be my 2nd RD race and I didn't stop for characters at the last one since it was also my first half. I'm still not sure if I'll stop, it would have to be a meaningful character so I thought of who that would be, Roger Rabbit immediately came to mind. Who would be your must stop for character?

Well, I finally got my picture with Oswald at marathon weekend this year. So now I will be on the look-out for Robin Hood and Figment. When I ran the Disneyland Half in 2016, Robin was on Main Street on one of the double decker buses, so I did get a picture from a distance. I can't find the individual picture, so you get the collage:

Since there’s been some character stop talk, I’ll throw out there I’ll probably do a character stop text group for the half if there’s any interest. We did it Marathon weekend and it seemed to go ok. But we can figure that out much closer to race day.

Yes please! I only stopped a couple of times over the entire Dopey weekend this year, but I have big plans for W&D. Can I be in the noisy group this time?
