Getting caught back up! Great MK visits!!

The Edison looks really cool. Will add that to the list of places to try out.

We also rode through Space Mountain with the lights on one time on the People Mover. I thought it was really cool to see.

I haven't seen Country Bears since I was a little kid and went with my parents. I'm going to try and hit it this summer when we got with my girls just in your honor.

Love your HEA photos as always. It's a great show, but I still think I prefer Wishes as well.

I can't believe you haven't going through the treehouse before. I mean, it is what it is, but I enjoy it for a nice little walk and the views of Space Mountain are great.

I STILL haven't managed to catch Festival of Fantasy. I'm trying for it this summer as well!

I’m glad I’m getting people to check out Country bears! It’s one of those classic things that I hope we never lose.

I probably prefer wishes as well but I do enjoy HEA.

I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been in the treehouse either!

How cool to see it with the lights on! Now next bucket list item: riding with the lights on.

A few years back, we took our kids out of school for a week and went to one of the youth education classes to justify our “educational” trip. The subject was physics and everyone got to ride Space Mountain with the lights off and then the lights on to see if they perceived a difference in speed. My husband was there with the older kids (I was hanging out with a cranky toddler, so he definitely got the better end of the deal). The younger girl was scared to ride, so only my oldest got to ride with lights on. She loved it. I remember riding with the lights on at DL once, but I can’t remember why they were on. It’s been a few decades.

That cheesecake looks so good. My oldest loves cheesecake, so we might have to make a stop our day at Disney Springs.

What shall I buy?

Hey remember me? Yeah I am still here. Its been crazy for me with exams ongoing. My last one is Tuesday. I am enjoying a study break today though.

I made my way to Epcot for some final Flower and Garden fun. This would be my last day at Epcot so I wanted to try and make the most of it.

I don't think I got anything to eat this time around. I might have but no pictures of it. I did do a lot of shopping though.

I wanted something to remember my first trip to Flower and Garden. They didn't have any pins I was thrilled with so I ended up getting this cool lightbulb shaped mug featuring everyones favorite purple dragon figment!



I then called my mom and asked her what she wanted. My mom really likes Dooney's but couldn't decide if she wanted one or not. She did want one of those wind spinner things though. The one pictured is pretty close but different colors.



We also decided to get a garden statue. This was surprisingly only $40. It was HUGE! I had to have it shipped home. No way I was getting that on the plane.



Finally I ended up getting my mom the Dooney wallet to surprise her.



She ended up really liking it and uses it right now.

After spending too much money that I would like to admit I headed over to Hollywood Studios to spend the night!

Then I decided to get some dinner at Backlot Express. I was boring and basic and ended up with a slushy and chicken nuggets.

I met this incredibly nice CM here who was an older gentleman. I never caught his name so I couldn't give him a #CastCompliment. He was great.

I caught the Star Wars stage show next.

Here is when my next fantastic Cast interaction happened. This guy was pretty much our pre-fireworks entertainment. His name is Jeff and his wife and him are retired educators who now work for Disney. He has a blue name tag so you know he is good. He was out of this world good. He told us about a story of an interaction he had with a Make-A-Wish kid that would have made you cry. While so much has changed for better or worse at Disney its Cast Members like Jeff that make me come back.

I've never seen that projection show or the current Star Wars fireworks. Wow, apparently if you don't go to WDW for 2+ years you miss everything...
You know what hasn't changed since my last trip? All Star Sports (although that was actually 2 trips ago). I like the fun characters, but I dunno ... the resort feels a bit dated to me. At least it did when I stayed there in 2015.

Yeah Sports is definitely dated. The rooms will soon be getting updated though.

Jeff is amazing! We staked out spots right on the tape last year on our trip and got to listen to him for an hour. It was AMAZING and so much fun!! So glad he’s still there entertaining folks while keeping the path clear.

It is! Thanks!

Good question. I haven’t stayed at Pop since the renovated rooms but will be this November. I think I prefer Pop better due to the theming and the proximity of AoA. The all stars will also be getting refurbed as well so I think that could help them.

Blue means they have been recognized by Disney for outstanding work. I believe it is only blue and the regular white.
