“Frozen Ever After Dessert Party” with Fireworks Viewing and After-Close Attraction Ride

Wish I had some sort of inside scoop, but I'm at the mercy of Disney's website like everyone else. :-(

I'm hoping it's not going to be cancelled as I want to do that on my birthday trip in December!
Wonder how long it will be before we know?
Seeing it is still listed on the "Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort" web page might be a positive?!?

Honestly I thought the same thing, or that F&W has something to do with the delay of dates
AFAIK, there is no delay, why do you think there is? There are no Sept. dates for the SW party as well. It's just the way the group that puts on these parties does things.
but who really knows.
Other than dates, what would you like to know?
Not following why it doesn't make sense.

I know there are some who are hoping it continues through the end of the year, but we're hoping Aug 31 is the last day. It's all just speculation for now, but it's my goal to have a reservation for the very last show. Silly as it is, I have Aug 31 booked. If it opens for October, I'll cancel and schedule one for our October trip. This is my favorite show of all times and I'm going to be there for the last one no matter what I have to do. I'd prefer to have a seat when I'm there. WDWNT had an article back in February saying they believed the new show had been fast tracked and the end of Illuminations was only months away. Time will tell. Until I see the party at HS scheduled for October and not the Frozen, I'm not getting too excited. I don't want to see it go, but if it has to, would be nice if I timed it right. :)https://wdwnt.com/2018/02/rumor-nighttime-replacement-illuminations-epcot-nearing-completion/

I did notice that September isn't available for the Star Wars Dessert Party either.. interesting.
I'm just regurgitating this information, but the dessert parties at Epcot and HS are handled by a different department than the dessert parties at MK, which is part of the reason why the Frozen and SW dessert parties aren't available at the same times as the HEA dessert parties.

Where did you read that?

Who posted that? Oh, it was me and it is correct.

My husband and I did this party last night and really enjoyed it. The CMs were all wonderful, the food was better than the MK event, it didn't feel crowded at all, plenty of space and the view was excellent even though we weren't at one of the tables by the rail. Our favorite party so far!

Just wanted to add for those of you still worrying about dates past Sept. I wouldn’t worry too much unless an official announcement is made. My family did the dessert party in April and I don’t think it was actually bookable until either late feb or March.

Thanks for posting this. I figure it if isn't ready to book before I can book FP then we will just try to work around those. We left our evenings "unplanned" for the most part. :)

This is Galactic Spectacular this morning for those asking...

I was really hoping to do the Frozen dessert party on our trip, hope they don't cancel it :(
I guess the rumors of an Illuminations replacement are swirling a little faster now, but I would expect they'd still have a dessert party for whatever the replacement is.

Following......
We are hoping they either don't have any dates in Sept, or they lower the price. Since the rumors of Illuminations ending this year, we want to make sure of a great view as this may be our last time to see it. But at $79 a person it's a bit too expensive! But if there is no dessert party then our favorite viewing area should be open/available for FP+.

Since we're all patiently awaiting September and beyond dates, I am looking for some suggestions on what (if anything) I might be able to bring to add some Frozen touches to this evening for my will be 4 yo? I was considering some light up stuff from Party City, but I wasn't sure how annoying that would be for other folks trying to enjoy the fireworks. DD is a HUGE Frozen fan, but I've read this can feel like a more adult dessert party, so any suggestions are welcomed! TIA!

All said and done, how long does this experience usually take? For a night where Illuminations starts at 9, what time can you expect to be out of the park?

In April, my Minnie Van pickup time stamp from the front of the park says 10:03PM. It arrived just as we were walking to the drop-off area, so we didn’t wait. We did stop for a bathroom break between the ride and the front entrance (which with two kids usually takes a bit longer than adults only) and probably stopped for a minute to jump around on the sidewalk lights.

Were the fireworks at 9pm on your night?
