My issues with the multi-use toiletries

Exactly. I like H2O Plus a lot. The Deluxe resorts provide their skin care items. I've used the moisturizer and like it a lot. I've bought it at Ulta since. It's not the highest end item but not low end either.
And I really love their foot relief cream. Bought a big tube of that too.
The foot relief cream is amazing! It felt so good after a day in the parks.

I use hotel & cruise ship toiletries and have never had a problem. H2O products in particular are great. I don't want to check bags if I don't need to.

I always bring my own toiletries. DH has a lot of allergies to scented products, so I bring Ivory wherever we go. My son loves Body Shop rainforest shampoo and conditioner, so I bring that in travel bottles. Even though we’re well-stocked with our own stuff, I will usually use the H2O stuff at least once or twice. It is very good quality and smells lovely. I don’t love that there are no more personalized toiletries because I always took what we had partially used home as a little souvenir. Scent is very evocative of memory, so a little whiff of lotion can remind me of a great vacation. However, the big dispensers are surely more practical and less costly.

I use very high end professional salon hair products that do not contain sulphates or any of the other ingredients you listed. I use Elemis Spa products to to cleanse and moisturize my skin. We use Dove soap which is very gentle and recommended for babies by pediatricians.

I tried Disney's hair products which dried out my hair, so no, never again.
They gave use Elemis products in our Concierge stateroom on the Dream, too masculine smelling....I asked for H2O and they loaded us down. As others have said ...the foot cream is amazing (GF) after a day in the parks and so is the solar gel. To each his/her own.

We returned last week from POFQ and they were no longer giving bath soap. No bath soap for hand washing (only facial soap). Also, I called housekeeping to request a bar of bath soap for showering, and they only brought another bar of facial soap.

What the difference in the bars of soap? I never knew they had 2 types at Disney
So you can't use face soap to wash hands? I'm afraid at 54 years old I've been using the wrong soap on my hands for all these years LOL
I do realize the issues with using hand soap on the face but not face soap on your hands

I don't know what the difference is or if there IS a difference. One box says facial soap. And in the past, another box would say Bath soap. Now (at least at POFQ), they only gave facial soap. Oh, and I am opposite of you. I will use bath soap on my face, no big deal. But I do not want to use facial soap on my more sensitive areas!

I always figured they were the same soap, the facial soap bar was just smaller. :confused3 I always used the facial soap for handwashing. I bring my own facial cleansers.

Well I have become a fan of the H2O products since our recent stay at AKL and I assume this change to what I refer to as bacteria makers are so Disney can save a few more pennies by installing stuff that I will never use. My daughter had read the change was not going to the deluxe resorts so she is using the soap an another bullet in her battle to permanently get me to upgrade to deluxe.

Seems like most hotels I visit nowadays it's labeled facial soap and it's the only soap they provide. Sometimes the hotels would provide two (one for handwashing and one for washing yourself) but they were mostly still labled facial soap.

Just left Pop. We used the products. Like OP my daughter was annoyed with placement for her baths. I didn’t mind it as a shower person. We both didn’t like the scent at all. The water dries my hair - they have the worst water for bathing. I had to use a lot of conditioner to combat it. We took small bath poofs to use with the shower gel. I was pleasantly surprised at how securely the apparatus held the bottles - I couldn’t have removed one unless I wanted to risk breaking the whole thing. It was very clean. Also the bottles seemed full. We were there 5 nights in one room and 10 in another and the bottles still seemed full.

Facial soap should be fine for the more sensitive areas actually. It's typically going to be free of any harsh chemical or fragrances. Facial skin is typically more sensitive than the rest of the body. So anything for the face is ok for anywhere else but anything for the body isn't usually ok for a more sensitive area, if that makes sense. At least that's how I was taught by the dermatologist years ago.

Which goes along with what I was told that facial soap=ok for all over, body soap=not ok for all over. If you are only going to provide one, provide the one that can do it all. At least that's how I see it.
Granted, probably all just a name anyway, and in the end, bet there's little difference in them other than one has a fragrance slapped in it and the other doesn't.

Umm, okay. My pro-collagen cleansing balm has a light rose scent; my papaya enzyme peel has a papaya/pineapple scent; my balancing toner has a light lavender scent; and my pro-collagen marine cream is unscented. There's really nothing masculine about those products. Perhaps you were given samples from their Men's line.

I'm so glad that you found products that work for you.

Great news!!!

We've reached the point where people are looking for something to complain about, so they've decided the smells of the free toiletries are "too masculine. My goodness.
Not a complaint, just an observation. DH is a retired Marine and he liked the Elemis. ..and if you cruise Concierge, it ain't free. LOL

I'll have to check out that papaya enzyme peel. They used that type of peel at our dermatology clinic and it was great! Just found a bar of the Elemis soap from the cruise. It's Revitalize Me.
