We tried for hours yesterday to grab Savi's, and again this morning. We're checking 2 different days, and keep getting "Something went wrong" messages. Then we realized that other days during our trip either show available times or actually say "No available times". Any intel about the "Something went wrong" message only showing up for certain days? So frustrating!

I'm having a hard time deciding when to schedule Savi's or Droid depot. We are going last week of January and I just got us Oga ADR's for 1:55pm. I currently have reservations for Savi's at 10am and droids 11:30am. But now I'm wondering if I should move my building appts to later in the day so we have time for the ride lines earlier, like rope drop when they might be a tad bid shorter. We aren't staying onsite so even if they have FP we'll probably be out of luck and there are 7 of us, so I'm assuming I'll be waiting in line most of the day. I wish I knew better what ride queues were going to look like.

Tried again this morning and we are good to go for the Cantina in January! Jump on again this morning if you didn't have luck last night.

I scheduled my arrival at Oga's at 7:10 PM and my appointment at Savi's at 8:30 PM so I can basically go from one right to the other at the end of the day. I didn't want to have to haul a lightsaber around with me at the park all day. We still plan on using the EEMH to get on Smuggler's Run hopefully a couple of times, and then we'll enjoy the whole rest of the park once it opens to everyone at 9 AM.
Since you aren't staying on site and therefore can't access EEMH, I'd recommend moving them to later on in the afternoon. Trying to do Smuggler's Run right at rope drop and then getting to Savi's by 10 seems like you might be pushing your luck a bit,

I tried all my days yesterday and got no availability. I tried this morning and got plenty.

I was tempted to go get tipsy on Bloody Rancor’s at 8am, and since the only food options are oatmeal or a pastry, it would probably only take one. 😂😂 but for the good of all mankind I opted for one later in the day.

Everything seems to be working much better now. I moved our droid reservations to 3:35 so as not to cut it too close to our SciFi Lunch. It took less than 30 seconds to book it.

I just canceled a savi's on august 31 at 7:10pm
No you require an actual park ticket to gain entrance to the park, just like with ADRs and FPs. From what I’ve read though it is supposed guarantee you access to the land itself.

that's what i meant. just wondering if we would need to stay in line or expect a long line in order to get into land. also if whole party or just the people listed are guarnteed entrance

Also getting plenty of availability this morning for early December. If anyone is looking, try now.

Gotcha. It’s probably only those listed on the reservation guaranteed entrance.

I must be doing something wrong - when I go in to book for Oga's, I get the calendar, and when I pick my date in November, it just gives me the Cantina's hours (9-9). It doesn't even tell "No times available".

Was able to get Saavi's Lightsaber build Sept 9th at 12:25pm (leaving park after so perfect to not worry about carrying around), and then Oga's Cantina Sept 11th at 6pm. Was hoping for lunch time (still going to check), but night time drinks before Fantasmic will do.

Thanks to these reservations, 6-9 EMH will be Falcon only for GE and then can hit rest of park hopefully before 9. May end up being very easy Hollywood Studios days. Just hope weather plays along come September XD

I made a Droid Depot reservation for 8/29 at 5:20 this morning, then proceeded to make multiple Oga reservations for multiple dates. Hardly saw the falcon. Looks like the trick is to book before sunrise while most people are still asleep. :)

We will be going from February 4-11, 2020, and I noticed in everything I read that reservations are only available through Feb. 3 as of yesterday. I tried checking availability on the WDW website just now, but I'm getting the same old "Please remain on this page" stuff. I am just wanting to know... are they doing this 180 days out, day by day? Like should I keep checking today to try to get a reservation for February 4th, or is the cut off February 3rd for now until a set date in the future, when they will open a new block of dates? Or maybe they think by that time reservations won't be needed?

I'm just trying to figure out if I need to be super diligent about securing reservations then or not!

I know no one knows for sure, but do you think our whole party will be given access or just the person with reservations? We have a Savi’s reservation, then a droid reservation an hour later. My H is planning on taking one kid in to Savi’s as a guest then the other as a guest to do the droid.

In total, we are a party of 6, including my parents. If my parents can’t get in they won’t care so much, but hopefully the kids and I can go. I was planning to wait with whichever kid wasn’t building with my H.

All official Disney literature on this says that both the Droid experience and Savi's Workshop are for one builder plus one guest. The Droid Depot is a bit more open that would allow your whole family to view the build area from behind the fenced-in tables. Savi's Workshop is completely closed off if you are not the builder or the guest.
