"Official" 2019 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: Oh-So-Jolly Holiday Celebration

They couldn't help with ticketing on the chat. I just got through and they gave me tickets to DAH at AK tomorrow.

I bet you will have an awesome time at AK DAH. We attended our first Christmas party on 12/13 and were extremely disappointed. The party was sold out and I knew to expect crowds but it was beyond packed. I felt like it was definitely on par with the crowds on crowded park days. We managed to have a good time but we felt it to be a very poor value for our group. We attended AK DAH the next night and it was FANTASTIC! Super low waits and no crowds. My family LOVED it.

Just now leaving the party. Despite the rain we had a wonderful time! We came prepared with rain jackets, ponchos, and umbrellas. We hit the outdoor rides before the rain, and then the treat trails during the rain. We did camp out for about 30 minutes during the downpour. We had a great viewing spot for the fireworks by the castle, and then got a curb spot on main street for the 11 pm parade. Cast members were awesome and giving us handfuls of cookies! We got one last ride on space before closing and then were surprised with the recovery cards upon leaving the park. So glad we came, great job Disney and CMs!

We decided not to attempt the Thursday party with our recovery passes and figured it would be horribly crowded. We should have attempted to stay until the end but our shoes were soaked. The ponchos don't help with that. I am not sure if MK is always flooded in a rainpour but spots in Fantasyland and tomorrow land had deep standing water. A CM said the drains were clogged by the peoplemover and they've been "trying" to fix them. We opted for DAH at AK tonight.

We tried to tough it out last night but after the 8:30 parade was obviously cancelled, close lightning, my son’s shoes soaked due to ankle deep standing water, plus pushing my mom in a wheelchair, we got in line at guest services at 8:50. I got to the front of the line about 10:30. We got a full refund since we are leaving today. CMs very understanding and nice. We already booked for next Dec so hoping for better weather. I think i will book 2 parties next year in hopes one will be a success!!!

The one thing we got to do before the rain was the Country Bears dance party (Reindeer Ranglers). That was SO FUN!!! I highly recommend as a “can’t miss” experience! Shout out to the man last night who came dressed as Big Al. If you’re on the Dis, you rock!!

Hi all! We're thinking of going next year during the first two weeks of December, so does anyone know if they might still have merchandise and pins from MVMCP available during this time? Or does it usually sell out before then? Thanks!

Ugh. The forecast for the last party this Sunday keeps getting worse and worse. Right now the forecast is worse than last nights, rain all day and night with the possibility of multiple inches.. hopefully it changes for the better. If it doesn’t hopefully Disney refunds or gives other comps like last night.

we’re going to the last party too and cringing at the weather forecast right now. Rain from Saturday to Monday! I really hope they will refund if weather is bad... I have the party and Tony’s booked... that’s a lot for a rainy night

We called ticketing and are now attending DAH at DAK tonight! So excited!

Went on the 10th (5th year in a row) it was sold out and packed. Character greetings where all at least 45 mins and the rides lines never really did slow down whatsoever (Space Mountain still over 30 mins at 11).

Our daughter is heading into middle school and aging out of the “magic” a bit and the increased cost will probably turn this into a every couple a year event. We enjoyed the Festival of the Holidays much more than the Christmas party this year.

I'm currently in the special hotline they've set up to accommodate guests who had issues with the party last night. The Cast Member at ticketing said at the end I'll be offered either a 1-Day pass good for a year or the option to transfer to another Christmas Party night. I don't know if the party transfer is only good for the three remaining parties or if I can use them next year. The answer will determine what I pick, I'm already home (That was the last thing we did in WDW). I'd kind of like to try again next year because then we could just fly down for a two night/one day hotel stay and do only the compped party. If not, I guess I have to figure out how to get back down there again.

Kind of a pain. Disney is basically daring me to drum up another flight, hotel, and PTO.

Push for a refund. They have given refunds to people no longer in Orlando. Well supposedly.

Okay, since we booked through UCT they couldn't refund the card, but they did put it on a gift card they're mailing us. So now if we want to try to go back we can, it doesn't even have to be next year. I feel a lot better now.

Glad to hear that Disney is doing something to refund guests. As far as giving guests the options to attend another party night, does that option include the sold out night? Just wondering because that could potentially be multiple other people coming to an already sold out party or significantly overbooked parties for Friday and Sunday, assuming multiple people opted to take on of the remaining party dates for this year?

First night was rained out.. and they didn't offer passes..that would have been nice on our trip.

I don’t think you can transfer the free party comp ticket or even the one day ticket ... I believe it is non transferable but if you can’t make it to another party this year and you will not be returning to use the one day ticket they could refund your money via a credit for when ever you do come back.

We were at the party on Tuesday and it was a bit rough as we had grandparents in their mid-seventies with us. What is the special hotline they Disney set up? I have not received any notices of it.
