I was checking out room tours on YouTube for fun and found this one for the refurbed Cars suites, I had no idea AoA was getting room refurbs done but these look really cute!

That's the video we watched that sealed the deal for us! I asked if they were all refurbed and the CM said not yet but they were all supposed to be completed in 2020...time will tell how far they get depending on when work resumes. Hoping for a refurbed room (and I believe the couple in the video said 2 and 3 cars were done, so I"m planning on requesting building 3.

Thanks for the invite to this thread! ...I'm from the UK and had our April holiday cancelled 3 weeks prior, fast passes all done. 14nights at ASM. Was felling very sorry for myself. Still waiting on refunds or voucher from TA. And insurance have advised me not to book until travel restrictions are lifted....So we are looking at last week of May first week of June 2021. Am I waiting for vaccine? I don't know to be honest, I don't think I will cancel if there isn't one....taking each day as it comes but want something to look forward to. Besides, we have 14day Disney tickets worth £1200 to use before end of Sept 21 soooooo...Let's do this!

And I hear you. We had absolutely perfect FPs and ADRs all lined up for our doomed trip. We were actually supposed to be there right now and I’m trying very hard not to do the “we were going to be doing _____” thing, but it’s rough. On the bright side we’re optimistic that at least some of the construction projects will be done by the time we go. It would be pretty cool if the walkway to Grand Floridian is finished in time for our stay.

384 days to go and I have my perfect arrival day in my mind. Catch a flight out of New Orleans at around 11am. Get to Boardwalk around 4 and hopefully have a room ready. Take a swim then head to Beaches and Cream for dinner. Really want to see the it now that it's been expanded.

Stroll along the boardwalk back to the room, stopping to take photos in the photo booth.

My ideal would be 6 am out of Chicago, at Gran Destino by 1. Explore grounds, then either go to Disney Springs or Epcot for a while. Or see if we can get an amazing fast pass somewhere! Then end night with 8 ish dinner at Toledo!

We used to take the early flight when we had APs. We figured there was no point this time, so I’m glad we can sleep in a little!

I try to get first flight out. I hate flying and for some reason it calms me to be on first flight of day.

Going home I try to fly by 9:30 am.

Not sure on resort yet, we've only ever stayed at AoA and got out priced. Might do POP if we get a 20% off voucher from TA. It's a bit of a waiting game till refund comes through....you will be fine once you get passed your 'supposed' date, I was the same. Hang in there!

Can you check if this is happening for you?

Yeah, I just tried it and am getting the same result. Nothing about my trip on the home screen but I see it if I go into My Plans from the menu. I get that they're trying to keep people engaged but all this extraneous junk they keep slapping on the home screen is getting annoying.

Yes it’s been like that for me for a couple of days. I went in to download the new wallpapers from photopass and panicked when my trip wasn’t on the home screen.

Thanks for doing this!! Nothing set in stone on our end yet.. but we hope to within the next month or 2!! We also had to cancel our May 2020 due to this awful virus. We were going for my sons 4th bday, but now hopefully his 5th. Also since we are postponing more family can come now too!! We arent sure if we want to book rooms or rent DVC points... a lot to think about with a larger group!!!
