    Passport Processing Time

I renewed my passport over this summer and it took about 5 weeks. My boyfriend on the other hand was a new applicant (applied 2 weeks after I did in June), and still does not have his passport, as his application is on hold.

I got pin codes for May 2016 in November 2015 (around my 180 days) and the pincode was for stays from like March - May, all I remember was the block was weird and not in the normal blocks of months.

High School Science Project Ideas Please

He could look at extracting DNA from varying types of fruits (using the same amount in grams), some being more acidic than others (a general bio lab is extracting DNA from strawberries). What you'd assume is that the most acidic fruits would be less likely to give more DNA because of...

    More than Once?

Our repeats are Tusker House (breakfast - always a request from my bf!), California Grill because we always seem to be celebrating something when we go, BOG lunch, and 1900 PF. Sanaa may becoming a repeat for us too after last year.

    High school graduation present

When I graduated HS my parents got me a laptop and threw me a party. When I graduated college, I got a trip to Disney (just my boyfriend and I, since my dad can't travel and my mom can't leave him alone). When I graduate from grad school next May, it'll be a partial disney trip that I'm also...

Trying to teach my fiancé about money and financials

I'll say I haven't read all the comments but I'm close to your age (and so is my boyfriend) and currently we're working out financials. Just some backstory: Both of us grew up in relatively well-off families, even though our families had our own difficulties (my dad is disabled, so my mom was...

    Animal kingdom pandas?

I think for the pandas it is just too expensive. A 'baby' tax of $600,000 and then an annual fee of $1,000,000. It's been shown that panda exhibits actually lose money. And the first set of panda's at the Smithsonian were actually diplomatic gifts.

    Ancestory DNA testing

I'll have a MS in biotechnology, so I'm not really a medical professional, but have extensive knowledge in genetic information and molecular biology. If you are an organ transplant recipient, it is correct that would not change your DNA. Also, the organ's DNA would not be changed either, unless...

How do you Disney Dine? $ or $$$$

How many in your family? and ages? Two, it's just my boyfriend and I, and we are both in our 20s. How many days? typically Next year we're doing 10 days / 9 nights. Are you a commando or wanderer or laid back.... rope drop or last one out of the parks or some where in between type of family...

    Ancestory DNA testing

As a pp said, there are sales around the holidays. But, I only know of them selling for $149 if you've previously bought a kit. For my original one, I'm pretty sure I paid $199. I really loved the genetic health one, and they even give you your raw data, so if you know what you're looking for...

    Ancestory DNA testing

I've done 23andMe, and I'm also in the molecular biology field (which, deals with DNA the most - since that's almost the only thing we ever work with!). Ancestry for me wasn't my main reason for doing 23andMe, I was more interested in their other genetic tests, and a year or two ago they...

    There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!~ a Magical May trip report! *Updated 7/11 X2 Pg 9*

You got such good pictures in IASW! Mine always come out super dark and blurry. I think Kenny was ready to shoot himself after all the times we heard the Main Street Electrical Parade Music. Sometimes I even turn it on to annoy him now. But I enjoy it, because it's one thing my grandma...

Outdoor kitchens- how filling are they?

My boyfriend and I for a 'meal' at the kitchens would get one or two items from 3 to 4 kitchens and share them, and that would be enough for us.

How many days would YOU do in each park

On our last trip we did MK 2.5 (one was night only), EP 2, DHS 1, AK 1. But on our next trip, it'll probably be the same, just adding a night to AK to be 1.5. One of our 'days' at Epcot we didn't stay until night, and DHS we could didn't rope drop but got there mid-morning. Once the other lands...

Polynesian Studios and Horns? TOOT TOOT ugh.

Stayed in Hawaii in May, and the boat horns didn't bother us. I now live in DC, on a major road, and am right under the flight path for medical helicopters and sirens go off at all times of the night and they sometimes wake me up. If we were already awake, every now and then we may hear a boat...
