A Princess, A Royal Room and a CRAZY Auntie EE and Uncle Goey Updated 1/12 COMPLETED

Just read your entire report! Your niece is absolutely adorable. I am going to have to go back and read some of your older reports. Thank you for sharing!

We Saved the Best for Last:

After hanging around with a duck and some chipmunks, it was time for our final FP of the day. I had booked a FP to meet Mickey and Minnie. We didn't tell Gia about it, and she didn't figure it out until she saw them while we were waiting in line...She was so excited! They were very sweet and spent a lot of time with her. That's something I noticed this trip. All the characters were very patient, warm and loving. None of them were quick to say goodbye and really spent a great deal of time interacting with her, and I can appreciate that.

Once the meet was over, we did some shopping and then made the loooooong hike back to the car. We buckled Gia into her car seat, gave her her Minnie pillow, blanket and Lady stuffy and started the drive back to St Pete.

Little did we know that later this day we would be adding an extra day to our vacation...We were totally oblivious to the hurricane that was traveling up the coast...:P

I think the Mickey and Minnie at AK are so nice! I’m glad they spent time with Gia, again she is so cute in the pictures! How nice of you and Joe to take her to Disney! Such a hardship, lol!

Date Night Continued:

Joe and I met his best friend, Joe, and wife, Kim at our favorite sushi joint last night. We ended up ordering 2 bottles of sake (Kome Kome), which if you have never had it is my absolute favorite sake and I highly recommend it. Kim and I also had mango-tinis, yum!!!! We shared edamame, a tuna appetizer, and 4 different rolls. Everything was wonderful. Plus, I love the fact that this restaurant is literally 2 minutes from our house...

Joe and I started with a glass of Moscato for me and a nice Shiraz for him. For appetizers, we shared the calamari and the bruschetta. These were quite good. I had the linguini with clams as my entree and Joe had an oregano chicken dish. We both liked our main dishes a lot and they were HUGE portions. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of Joe's dinner. But, I did manage a picture of my side salad...Go figure??? We skipped dessert because the girl's wanted Dairy Queen. So, being that it was their birthday, that's where we headed next...Again, no Blizzard pictures...

After stuffing our faces we came home, changed into jammies, cracked open a bottle of Prosecco and live streamed the Disney fireworks. Did anyone else do this???

We hung out for another hour, finished the bottle of Prosecco and went to bed. This was the first time Joe and I managed to bring in the New Year in ages...So with that, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!!!! I hope 2019 is absolutely wonderful for you all!!!!
