FlyLady Habit for September: Before Bed Routine...

My List:

Get up and kiss DS16 bye as he leaves to drive himself ALONE to school for the first time... big kiss and hug given...watched him drive down the road...waiting....

Wait (not so patiently) for the text saying he arrived there in one piece :eek:

OK...got the call...there OK....WHEW!!

Wait patiently for the repair man to come and "sniff" my AC unit

Possibly whamo him with "I think I have a lemon. You need to replace this system, I don't feel it is reliable" That is my trump card... :rotfl:

Scrap and swap happily for the rest of the day

Pick up carpool, yeah, I'm still responsible, even though DS16 isn't in the car (and take daughter of friend driving... :scared1:

)

Arrive home in one piece

eat a quick dinner...

Stained Glass Class at 1800...I almost forgot!!

Wait till DS16 arrives home in one piece around 7pm

This is gonna be a really L O N G day for me!!!

COFFEE!! done - it was yummy
Laundry 1 load in the dryer!!
Dishwasher
Mail B-day cards
Check in on brother - had shoulder surgery today
PU DD at school done
Talk to DD teacher - DD is complaining about the 2 boys she sits between done
School Site Council Mtg 3:15 done - not sure I am gonna like this....
Brownies 5:15 think we are skipping this today
Soccer Practice 6:30 UGH both my assistant coaches are out of town on business...
Dinner?? Depends on if we live that long

I am thinking In N Out Burger after soccer!

Think we are going to skip Brownies. Little One will need a nap somewhere in there and since DH is in Houston I have to take her to soccer practice with me. :headache:

on worrying about DS while he's driving. I'm coming up on my DS driving alone. He'll be 16 in November. :scared1:

He's counting down to to driving alone and I'm trying to backpedal and keep it from happening!!!!Also, good luck on the a/c repair.

My day:

Take DS to school Done
Go get my hair cut Done
Go to Michaels, JoAnn's, Best Buy, Borders, and library Done except for Joanns and the library
Have lunch with DH Done
Go to post office Done
Finish T&T swap
Bag and label T&T swap

1.ds up, breakfast, dressed, bus
2.prep supper
3.work
4.call dr back - yet again.
5.deposit $ in c.u.
6.update calendar
7. wait for ann to call

ok that's enough to get me rolling for the day.

take laundry down and start sorting done
dd up for early mtg @ school done
ds up done
sort clothes from DDs room done & cleaned her room again!
dd to school done
ds clothes to basement and sort done
ds on bus done
wait w/ DDavis for A/C repairman! on hold til tomorrow..

dust & sweep living room & entry way done
scrapbook 2 pages before lunch

one page done;one page in process going to switch loads and work for about 10 mins.

preschooler to school done
stop by school to get some forms to be put into database done
bank & gas for van (XC meet away tonight) done
enter forms done! even sent a snarky email to foolish woman who emailed me to tell me to pick up stuff in the mailbox...which I had gotten 2 hours ago... "she is sorry to disturb me." does she remember, I have this database on my computer.. it can go poof instantly!
scrapbook a page or tinker with it at least

front of the house for LO done
cut vines for a friend & put them in the mail done & in the mail!
pick up preschooler done
homework duty elem done
DH to come home and pick up DS from XC done
homework duty w/ older kids done
DD's XC meet done
home for Ghost Hunters w/ kids.. we love that show!!! doing
