Nope, he tried to blame DD...

I had made copies for my mom each and every photo.. was going to make a 2nd back up for here and was doing that when I was going to look for the Italy photo...so this is now what I'm dealing with... I'm so mad..and even madder when I called Mom's work and that not so nice witchy lady answered the phone.. I asked for me..and she is like she'll be back sometime today do you need her.. Well, I called didn't I?? I don't ever call my mom at work unless I'm upset...so I don't usually talk to her unless she calls me doing the day...

We just met DD's 3rd grade teacher! I really like her (so far) - she reminds me of my mom! Of course, my mom was a 3rd grade teacher, so maybe that helps. But she is a grandmother and seems really nice, but also like she can be in charge when she needs to be.

I found one set of photos he didn't get because they were under DD's name. LOL

I called mom and I can drive down and get all the CDs I gave her to make copies...

He tried to call and talk to me and I told him I really didn't want to talk right now until I could talk to my mom... so tomorrow after DD's CC meet, I will either drive down to mom's or me and a few kids will drive down... I think DH will opt to stay home but that is okay...

I'm just so glad I got copies to mom...otherwise there would be some serious yelling and tears today/tonight!

I found some more....

but my big set of over 1700 is the one I'm missing..and that is the one w/ the parks on it, autograph sessions, etc...

needless to say, I'm backing all these discs up again.. I'll have 3 sets but at least I'll know where they are!!

ashley, so glad dd likes her new teacher. we found out who ds will have just this week. we have orientation on tuesday and he starts on wednesday. everyone i talk to says she's very nice. **fingers crossed** i hope so!!!!

It's okay... w/ you gals cracking jokes I'm getting the "fly me to the moon" desire!! Just like the Honeymooners show! LOL

I'm know backing up again the photos of our trip that I found... and I know exactly which discs I need from my mom..but I'm bringing them all home regardless and making 2 copies! (this keeps up he's gonna be investing in a external harddrive I keep under lock and key!) I'll get one of those zappers.. if comes near it and it'll zap his butt! LOL

Hey, when I get fired up, I'm on the go for a while..

I currently have found 4 discs... so I have a 2nd copy of them..
According to mom there is like 9-10 discs...

Oh Nan! I hope you find all your pictures! Good thing you made copies! My DH would go into hiding if that happened around my house.

Well I'm heading to Kansas City Monday morning for the week for work so I will be hit and miss all next week. *sigh* the price I pay for being so good at my job. My plane ticket was 740.00!!!!!!! I almost died. Good thing the company pays for it. And this time I get to stay in a fancy casino.

I'm going to my mom's to get all her copies... but I'm so mad at him.. and he really isn't worried about how upset I am.. I have barely spoken to him.. not that I'm really mad because mom has a set..but because he hasn't even apologized for the loss of them on our computer... these are OUR family photos you bone-head! MEN!

I, of course, am behind as usual on anything happening here anymore, but I clicked on this thread and now I'm trying to find your story, Nancy, about what happened to your Disney photos. I think I found it. I sure hope you recover everything. Otherwise, it kind of makes the whole trip disappear, doesn't it?

Believe me, I know how it feels.....With me, it was just, Bingo, the monitor on the laptop that I store my photos went blewy and I could see nothing to back-up everything. But, my newly found computer geek said there was no problem and he pulled out his handy dandy screwdriver along with pulling out my hard-drive and transferred everything to a safe place....which ended up being the new laptop I'm typing on.

Now, I've got everything stored on not one, but 2 separate hard drives!

I'm glad you've got other discs elsewhere!!
