We haven't been to Surf's Up before, but all the reviews I have read sound really good. Looking forward to trying it out this time!

Modegard - I just realized we are neighbors! Hello from next door in Saskatchewan!
I think I will definitely have to look into Surfs Up a bit more. Modegard - I just realized we are neighbors! Hello from next door in Saskatchewan!
Another vote for the Surf's Up breakfast at the Paradise Pier. We were the first family through the door when we went and had lots of time with each character. Even my oldest who hates to do anything that brings attention to himself got up and danced with the characters.
We are trying to decide between Surf's Up and Minnie's in the park. We've never done Minnie's before (just Goofy's and Surf's Up). But the rest of our group did Minnie's last time so we will have to figure that out.

Can you elaborate on this...define "Anaheim hot" and "Sacramento hot" please?
I'm in Canada and consider anything over 30 degrees "OMG, I'm melting, hot".

Hi from a neighbour to the West!
Is this at pch grill? And is it breakfast only?
Sac gets much hotter than Anaheim, typically, so I think that is what DaveNinja meant.
Typically, it's warm in Anaheim in August, averaging in the mid 80s. It's a very dry heat, usually, so it feels a bit different than if you are used to humidity, like at WDW. I cannot imagine visiting Orlando in August... I melt just thinking about it!
It can get quite hot in Anaheim though. One year we went, it was a major heat wave- temps hit up to 110 on our arrival day, and slowly dropped through our visit down to mid-90s. It was also quite humid (for us Cali folk ). That's not the norm, however, but it is possible.
Oh, I totally got what DaveNinja was saying...I was just trying to get an idea of what Sacramento hot was...are we talking 80's? 90's? over 100? (allow me to figure out the Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion!)
80 = 26.5
90 = 32
100 = 37.7
110 = 43.3 (Holy heck, can somewhere GET that hot and is my face melting off?)
