Can we keep track of all the discount examples in 1 thread so non Visa holders can see what they might be working with? This has been helpful to me in seeing my options but I thought it might be good to have all the specific examples in one thread instead of browsing all the 2015 discount threads :) In examples please include:

1. Number in party
2. Dates
3. Resort and room type
4. Discount used (SPD or room only)
5. Park tickets + options (park hopper, etc.)
6. Total cost

If I left anything out please let me know! pixiedust:

Good idea! All these threads are boggling my mind. I'm worried I'm gonna miss something. Maybe I better just book a trip...any trip...so I can post my victory here!:cool1:

Good to know! We're planning on Pop as well, but would want to upgrade to the regular dining plan. Considering our dining habits, seems like this could be a really good deal for us.

2. 1/24-2/1 (9 days 8 nights)
3. Pop Century, standard room
4. SPD
5. 8 day park hoppers

To keep or not keep....dub down a day or two....just don't know :faint:

Yay first post! Welcome :)

My husband and I will be there for the same dates as your family! Yay for discounts and low crowd off season! :woohoo:

Here's the breakdown for my split stay:

OK on my first call, #1 reservation was
1. Number in party~ 2 adults DH and myself
2. Dates~ Feb 3rd- 8th
3. Resort and room type~ POFQ-King Bed
4. Discount used (SPD or room only)~ SPD
5. Park tickets + options (park hopper, etc.)~ 8 day Park Hopper
6. Total cost~ $2934.60 that included Deluxe Dining, Memorymaker, and Travel Insurance
*** This brought us down from $3193 total for POFQ SV with all the same extras

My #2 reservation was
1. Number in party~ 2 adults Dh and myself
2. Dates~ Feb 8th- 11th
3. Resort and room type~ AKL CL
4. Discount used (SPD or room only)~ Room only
5. Park tickets + options (park hopper, etc.)~ none
6. Total cost~ $1233.90 (discounted from original fee of $1533.90)

I called back 2 more times because I decided I wanted to switch my #1 reservation to CBR from POFQ due to price difference. (I'm leaving #2 reservation as is.)
The next time I called the CM said there was no availability for the SPD discount. She was rather unhelpful to say the least.
The next call I talked with Guadalupe (who was Fantastic!).
She found availability and my #1 reservation ended up as follows:
1. Number in party~ 2 adults DH and myself
2. Dates~ Feb 3-8th
3. Resort and room type~ CBR with SV
4. Discount used (SPD or room only) SPD
5. Park tickets + options (park hopper, etc.)~ 8 day Park Hopper with Deluxe dining and Memorymaker
6. Total cost~ $2803.56 that includes travel insurance down even farther from the original $3193

I saved just under $700 today and I'm considering dropping the park hopper which will save us another $120. :dance3: :cool2:

1. 2 in party
2. Feb 12-18. 6 nights
3. Poly standard room
4. RO
5. 5 day hopper
6. $3615.52
With only 2 in party, RO is much better discount.

Only pool and lagoon view rooms avail in discount at BC made price same as poly, no reg view rooms at YC, contemporary garden wing was also same as poly.. WL standard view was $2868.94 , PORS royal room $2223.56
Have always wanted to stay at poly, so for now that is booked

1. Number in party 5 (2 adult, 2 Disney adult and 1 child)
2. Dates Jan 3-10 (room is for 5-10 only)
3. Resort and room type- POR Pool view
4. Discount used (SPD or room only) Room only
5. Park tickets + options (park hopper, etc.) We all have AP and use TIW
6. Total cost $855 (would have been $1125)
Saved $270 (average about 23% off total!)

Still keeping my eyes out for a possible move to AK or WL depending on what the AP discount is when that comes out! But we are content where we are right now.

1. Number in party 2 adults, one child (over 10)
2. Dates February 4-12 (8 nights)
3. POR Preferred Room, regular dining plan
4. Discount: SPD
5. 8 day park hopper
6. Total cost $3650

DH wanted Riverside, so he'll be happy. I had priced out POFQ a few days ago, and I feel like it was less than this package, before the discount. hmmm. (Oh wait, the price for POFQ was with my DD as a 8 year old, so cheaper dining plan. When I say she's 10, the price goes up. But then she's not eating Mickey Mouse chicken nuggets while I enjoy filet mignon.)

Well, reservations are made. Too soon to start packing, so I guess I'll spend the next few days questioning my decisions. :rolleyes1
I'm hoping to have enough Alaska Airlines miles to pay for our flights, so we might just be able to pull this off!
Still kicking around the idea of a Deluxe with room only discount...
Or maybe Caribbean Beach. Or...or...or...

1. Number in party - 2 adults and 2 disney children
2. Dates - March 4 - 8
3. Resort and room type - CBR Standard
4. Discount used (SPD or room only) SPD
5. Park tickets + options (park hopper, etc.) Base Tickets for 5 days
6. Regular Dining Plan
7. Total cost $2639.52 (Package was 3213)

Priced also for my sister who has AP and only needs a room only.

1. Number in party - 3
2. Dates - March 4-8
3. Resort and room type CBR Standard
4. Discount used (SPD or room only) RO
5. Total cost: 733.06 (it was 942.72)

2 adults
3 children (7,6,4)

Feb 10 - Feb 18 (9-Day, 8 Nights)
Dining Plan
8-Day Base Tickets (no park hopper)
Magic Maker

S/P/D = $4,485
Regular = $5,192

Savings = $707

CM told me that these were the only discounts they were sending out for this time period. NO OTHER DISCOUNTS will be sent out. Would not use the words free dining.

We are still debating. Might be a tough year to do it.:confused3
