I have a huge purse collection, yet I normally only rotate use of my 4-5 favorites.

Not necessarily a waste of money if you have the right ones and keep them up. Easy to resell.

I have some really nice ones, but it pains me to think of selling any....

In 1996, we had a travel trailer that was in a campsite where it had to be moved every two weeks in the summer. So, we bought a $30,000 Chevy Tahoe so that we could drive 1.5 hours each way and move it ourselves - and not pay the $25 move fee.

Yep, paid $30K, plus tags, insurance, gas and such to save about $200 a year (for about 8 years).

At the time, we owned two "company cars" with free gas so we never drove the Tahoe. Sold it just a couple of years ago for almost nothing as it had dry rotted from lack of use. It probably had about 50 thousand miles on it.

As a CM said driving the Jungle Cruise ride, "yes you too can spend a fortune on a college education only to spend your days operating the same 10-minute boat ride." We were all howling!
