Nope, I am sure he knows it. It was too hectic with all the parents coming to pick up their kiddies to chat. Just makes me appreciate my kids more!Anne Marie - Did you tell the dad she was a demon? Because I would have! I don't blame Daniel for wanting to stay away from her!
Thanks, I will check out this site.Anne Marie - Speaking of Daniel, have you heard of the Davidson Institute? It is a school in Reno, NV for "profoundly gifted" kids. I saw a thing about it on TV the other night, and I was just looking at their website www.ditd.org to see what it says. The story said the kids who go there all have IQs of at least 160. Very interesting, and reminded me immediately of Daniel and your challenges to find appropriate curriculum for him. Anyway, you might take a peek when you have a minute because it is fascinating.
Daniel has a appointment Monday to visit a gifted school (They said they were full but now may have an opening, I think they just want to see him before commit to anything) anyway, we meet with the admin there in the morning & Daniel will spend the whole school day there to see how he likes it. This is the one that is $10k for the year but is also the best. We will know more Monday night after we talk to him & see how the school is. It's either that or homeschooling (which quite surprisingly I am leaning towards) the more I read the more I think it might just be the best thing for him.
