How else are restaurants going to justify $20 for one meal? Sure they could give me a to-go box. But most of the time, I’m not interested in reheating half-eaten leftovers.
Lol I love spicy peppers, and hoppy IPA’s!The I'm going to make this with even hotter peppers craze. Look. I don't need a pepper where the chef has to wear heavy gloves and goggles and change them every 5 minutes because the pepper burns through them ok? We don't need a hotter one. So just stop. Enough is enough.
IPA. Oh yes let's take the worst aspect of beer (bitterness) and see how bad bad can get.
Stuff stuck to the outside of glasses.

I want to know where you all eat. We used to take half a meal for for lunch the next day, now the portions at most restaurants are much much smaller, about right sized to be honest. And like I said, they have also downsized the plates so it looks like more food. I always wonder how much they really save on smaller portions. Is it really enough to justify the cost of hundreds of new smaller plates?I agree about the ridiculous portions. I rarely, rarely ever order an entree, it's so much food, or it becomes 2 or 3 meals and by that point you're sick of eating it.
Instagram food is my annoyance. And generally people talking about making chili, or whatever, on social media. I just don't care what other people are having for dinner usually.
Both of which can be used to kill insects.Lol I love spicy peppers, and hoppy IPA’s!

entirely college prep high school curriculums.
i attended high school with many students who had no intention nor desire to attend college-students who had genuine interests and talents in trades and careers that would in no way, shape or form benefit from a college degree. both of my now adult children (graduated within the last 5 years from high school) had similar peers. there were as well students who were (for lack of better terminology) 'academically unsuited' to pursue college. with both categories they stayed the course and completed high school doing the standard high school curriculum and opting not to take a.p. or college prep classes.
this is no longer an option at the high schools in my area-all curriculums for graduation are identical to the college application requirements for HIGHLY COMPETITIVE institutions. multiple years of higher level math, foreign languages and sciences, little to no opportunities for arts and industrial electives (unless they are 'highly desirable' by colleges on an application).
i am watching...............i anticipate that high school graduation rates will decline vs. college enrollments increasing.
I have no idea. I don't get it. It seems so messy to me.Are you supposed to lick the outside of the glass?!
$20? When you order the steak and the place is using USDA prime beef or if you go to a seafood restaurant where everything is fresh no way they can charge $20 and make any money. Plus when you are paying all of the staff $15-$20 per hour costs add up.

YES! So much this right here. From discussions I have had with school administrators, they are not on board with this trend either. That stuff comes down directly from the district and they just have to implement it. My son goes to a new HS with almost all core classes being either CP or Honors/AP. There seems to be no place for "average" or trade focused students to go. It's gonna be a huge problem in a few years.

Kale. Nuff said.
