ADR Day Four:

I'm not going to lie, I went into ADR day four with no sense of joy whatsoever.

I was still mad at Lady and the Tramp and seriously PO'd at Disney for forcing us to book 6 months in advance and not having the actually facilities to actually do it!
It would be some much easier to just do it maybe a month or two before then maybe their stupid system might actually be about to cope! Gahhhhh!!

Okay. Mini rant over!
So there I was, not looking forward to facing off with L and T again, but as I am a glutton for punishment I thought why not try this BOG thing again. ​

I opened the page, searched, found a time of 5:10pm (on the day we are thinking of doing MNSSHP no less) let's try and book this sucker. Click.

Holding my breathe….

YESSSSS!!! I got it!!

No L and T! No fake MDE apologises! I got it!

Okay! Let's try something else...

Everything’s coming up Lu!

I managed to get everything I wanted at the Poly AND CR!!! Woot woot!

By the time I finished I was pretty much back to not hating Disney and everything associated with it!

But really I was pretty much over ADRs by that point. Good thing I had another ADR day to go!

ADR Day Five:

When ADR day five came around I wasn’t really all that concerned with what I got.

The only thing I was sort of concerned about was CRT (do I smell foreboding? )

But other than that I was feel pretty Que Sera, Sera and Hakuna Matata about the whole thing.

Can you see how much that whole Lady and the Tramp thing affected me?! ​

As CRT was the one I was mildly worried about I tried that first, the only time they had the day I wanted it was 5:35pm.

Now this was both a good thing and a bad thing, on the good side like I mentioned earlier you can't eat at MK after 6pm so this was a good time on that score.
On the bad side this was a day where time might not be on our side. We technically would be at Disney this day so I means getting back to OKW, getting changed, bus-ing it to MK to get to CRT by 5:35pm...in theory it's do able. In theory...

I booked it anyway! Thank goodness we had the DDP so I didn’t have to pay the full amount up front!

Weirdly I didn't actually have all that many ADRs planned for our time at OKW, which is silly since this is our stay with the most DDP credits.
This ADR day turned into more of a moving stuff around then booking new ones day.

This brings us to my two struggles for this ADR day.
The lesser of the two involves La Nouba. Now I didn't realise that they aren’t doing any shows for like a week which, you guessed it, was exactly when I had planned for us to go.

Time for plan bazillion and three, well technicality plans bazillion and three, four and five!

At the time the only day I could book La Nouba would be 17th September. By some quirk of fate I already have an ADR at Raglan Road that night. Not at a doable time thought. Surprise surprise. So I could move RR up and do La Nouba that night or wait and see what dates they announce in October as I could do it on 1st October if they had performances that night and switch our ADR earlier.

That leaves us with my last (okay maybe not my last but I will get to that) ADR issue. That CRT ADR.

After thinking it over I decided it would be to much of a rush to try and get to CRT by 5:35 (it would have been fine if you could get past 6pm!) so I looked around and found an ADR on 2nd October at 5:10pm which would work out much better as we don’t have any concrete plans that day.

Sure I already had an ADR for Artist Point at 7:45pm but I could just swap that to the day we were going to go to CRT originally! Sorted! Click! ​

Oh. Hell. No.

Okay. Don't panic. It might just be because I already have an ADR and they are holding my DDP credits, maybe you can't have two? Sounds plausible, right?

I'll just change our current ADR...oh...okay...apparently you can't do that.

So I tried a different day and score! I found a 4:05pm ADR on a different (earlier) day! It's not the best time but it will do! Click...

Booked! So I moved Artist Point back to where I moved it from (I'm sorry Artist Point I have moved you like 50 times! ). I logged out and just let it all alone….yeah right!!

I looked a fewdays later to see if I could book CRT for 2nd October and not only did it book but I got 5:20pm! Woo hoo!! Sorry Artist Point! You are moving again!

In other trip related news I booked our Airport hotel (or hotel number 8 if you will!) I paid off our 7th hotel and rental car and confirmed our Discovery Cove day! Also I book a Serengeti Tour at Busch Gardens!!

All I have left to do now is our train tickets and MNSSHP tickets and this sucker is done!!

Well...wasn't that fun??

I have had a stupidly long day at work today and I may have gone a little stir crazy!

Our ADR day was a cake walk compared to yours! I got mostly everything we wanted, expect Hoop Dee Doo which Scott refused to go to, oh well!

Its already May!! September will be here soon! Wahoo!! But still no Mickeys Not So Scary Party!

Cant wait to hear more!

I guess I only had one resort reservation though, so maybe I caught the system on a good day Haha, you will never watch Lady and the Tramp again But that has turned out to be one magnificent ADR list, I must say. BRAVO.

I just need to ask - you mention you booked your airport hotel, what is this please? We're thinking about staying at Manchester airport the night before our flight, is that what you're talking about? We haven't booked yet so I probably need to start researching.. GAHH so much to do.. But we will be there in FOUR MONTHS!!!!!

I think it didn't help we did so many different split stays! Oops!

I haven't ever seen Hoop-Dee-Doo before, to be honest it never really struck me as something I wanted to do, then I started watching See Ya Reel Soon (have you ever watched that?) and they did it and loved it and then I thought about doing it I nearly did but DM vetoed it!

We are staying at http://www.claytonhotelmanchesterairport.com/ the night before we fly, mainly because I am far too lazy to get up super early to drive to Manchester!

Last time we stayed at the airport that is actually attached to the airport https://www.radissonblu.com/en/hotel-manchesterairport which was super convient but they only have single beds in the twin rooms and I am now a super bed snob and refused to sleep in one again

So the big news for this PTR is that MNSSHP tickets FINALLY went on sale on Thursday!!

Of course the price has gone up but not as badly as I thought it would so silver lining there! We have our tickets (well my printer does anyway) for Friday 23rd September!!

Now the hard part starts: what the heck to I wear as a costume?!

It doesn't feel real yet that it is only FOUR MONTHS TILL DISNEY!!!

In other news I may or may not (it's totally may...) have added to my ADR list!

Well I think that is about all I have to say for now! I will try and get together an up to date set of plans (in sparkly pen no less as I still am a total failure at spreadsheets!) at some point to show you all...but let's be real it won't stay accurate for long!

This is actually quite simple to calculate.
If FP window opens up at midnight Eastern (USA),
then that means she needs to book no later than the third Wednesday of the middle month at stupid o'clock in the morning.
