Howdy all. I'm back from work. Man just like I thought it was CRAZED! I got in there and we had ordered a new copier cuz our old lease was just about up and just what I KNEW was going to happen DID. The vendor told me NOT to pay the old lease bill that was due on 12/30 because we were getting a NEW lease for the NEW copier and since the bill was paid in ADVANCE that I shouldn't pay it. I paid the last bill on Nov 19 that should have taken us THROUGH Dec since it is paid in ADVANCE. Well sure as heck I get a call today from the copier leasing company collections dept saying I am past due. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I was so balistic. I was like I ALREADY feel like crap and don't want to be here and now THIS! UGH!

So I had to yell at the guy that the vendor told me not to pay it and that I was NOT in arrears because we had a BRAND NEW copier and on and on. Then I called the vendor on the other line and told him he BETTER fix it. The first guy was like I'm sending you to collections and yadda yadda and I was like AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Not what I needed on my first day back after the holiday AND when I already felt like crap and didn't want to be there. SHEESH!

But anyway the vendor CLAIMS he got it resolved but WHY do I feel like I am going to get a letter and MORE calls! HMMMMM! Plus we are in the red again and I had to pay the rent and a bunch of other bills plus mom is leaving for Mexico on the 14th for almost 2 weeks and that means I have to try and deal with all the BS at the office by myself. YUCK! Plus they want me to take them to the airport RIGHT at rush hour and I have to pick the girls up from school and then rush over and get them and then drive in traffic to drop them off and then sit traffic BACK home and hope I make it home in time to take the girls to Awana at church. BLEH! So not happy bout that!

I'm just glad I am home now and don't have to go back to work till Friday!

Although I have all my corporate tax stuff so it looks like I will be tackling that for the next few days. THAT will be fun! NOT! Is it March yet? LOL

This trip is going to be SOOO welcomed I can't tell ya! I am SO ready!!!

To bad I don't drink cuz I could use one right now!

I called dining today they had me hold forever. The CM called BB as Pirates is on the refurb list starting Feb 15th. CM checked and was told by BB that they don't open if it's in refurb, and they have NOT been told of any refurb in Feb or start of March, so not sure on that refurb listing on DL calender.

I SO give up on the refurb calendar! I'm just gonna go and what's open is open and what's not is not! It gives me too much anxiety dealing with that calender! All I know is that my mom has ressies for BB at the end of February and the CM said Pirates would be open. I wish they would get their stories straight down there.

I so agree with you! It is so much better to just play it by ear sometimes and be happy with what is available. I understand that when people are making a once in a lifetime trip (or at least once in several years) that they are frustrated when things are not open, but most of us are lucky enough to get to go at least once a year and in many cases we go 4+ times each year!

My very first trip to DL was in March 2002, during the big Space rehab, and while we were there POTC/BB was closed too. But, honestly I didn't really know what I was missing out on, so I was just happy for the experience of being at a Disney park for the very first time. I was so clueless back then that we went to DCA and completely missed Soarin', which is now my fave ride...honestly the only thing that I really remember about DCA was the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire attraction and Screamin'.

But, I do wish that they could figure out what they are doing and stick with it. Meanwhile, they have finally officially announced a long overdue rehab for Space in FL starting in late April and stretching on until "late 2009". Hopefully their Space rehab won't take 2 years like the DL one did!

The scavenger hunt will be so fun! Is my BFF signed up too. Her name is Terri. She is so not the online friends, group sort of gal. But, she is a good sport and will go along with it, even if she is cursing me under her breath.

And lastly, for anyone who prays, please pray for my oldest DD and I. She and I will be flying to Washington DC on Tuesday and then on Thursday she flies to Uganda for a study-abroad semester. She won't be home until May and I'm going to miss her more than even I can imagine!! I know it's a great experience and all that, but sheesh! I'm a MOM, and it's really hard thinking about her being gone for so long. I did get her and I webcams that hopefully we can get set up today to make sure they work. But I'm SO NOT looking forward to Thursday

Aww! I know exactly how you feel. My second son spent a semester on a mission trip to the Phillipines, and my oldest DD went to Spain for a semester. I was never so happy to see them when they came home. I will definately keep you and Christine in my prayers.

Ok ladies, went to DLR today and saw Michelle (Zoemakes5) and MaryJo (aka MaryJo). Also saw some other Disboarders--pixiewings 71, wendypooh22 (we are trying to get her to come on the ladies' only trip), ShyBoy and some others I'm not remembering at the moment (oh! Yellow Mickey Ponchos/Nancy). It was fun. I was worried that it was going to be a crazy day because at 8:30 the line to get in the parking garage was like 30 cars deep. And security was 10-15 minutes. But the park wasn't that bad--went on IASWH--it was cute, but I didn't smell anything special like peppermint? Went on Buzz twice, rode the train around and pretty much didn't ride anything else. Just drank in the sights and sounds. One funny--this Asian couple (looked like maybe from japan?) taking pictures of each other eating one of the giant turkey legs!

Anyway, it was a lovely day and I'm tired.

Hope that everyone had a great weekend. Mine was lost to me, as I am fighting an infection in my right nostril. It started 5 or 6 days ago feeling like I had a zit on the inside of my nose (gross, I know!), and by yesterday it was so bad that I went to Urgent Care. Two hours later I was out the door with a prescription for both oral and topical antibiotic ointment. And now, here I am on Sunday night and it still is really infected and it hurts like crazy. I have taken 2-3 hour naps each of the last couple days because I am so physically exhausted from the pain and pressure it is causing.

So, I think that I am probably going to have to go to my doctor tomorrow... It is supposed to be my first day back at work after 2 weeks off, and here I am being felled by an infected nose! I swear to god, my c-section didn't bother me as much as this little nose thing. How can it be that something so innocuous can turn out to be such a pain (both literally and figuratively)?

Anyhow, I sound like a total whiner at the moment, so I will say goodnight and hope that the antibiotics decide to kick in and do their job overnight so that I can move on with my life!

Yikes! That sounds horrible!! Hope the meds start working as soon as possible!

I'm going back to bed soon. Became sick last night with chills and fever, and this morning I feel terrible. I think I have the flu. It sure came on fast! I felt fine all day yesterday until about 8:00pm last night, then BAM!......chills, then fever, then sore eyes, headache, etc. I took some night time Thereflu when I went to bed, but I'm going to have to take some more. The chills and headache are setting in again.

My birthday trip to Disneyland isn't going to work out for me, 'cause my friend is a LOSER! But, I do get to go at the end of February for my eldest niece's b-day! Then I get to go back like a week and a half after that for the girl's only trip!

Well there is no way they can redo Space that fast at WDW if you ask me. What they did at DL was one major overhaul. I wonder what they plan on doing at WDW?

Found it finally at a place called Total Wine. Bought all two bottles they had. Hoarded it from my holiday guests. Finished off the first bottle last night.

Now I have to find a champagne stopper that actually works.

Hello Ladies!

I hope you all had a fun Christmas and New Year's break. A couple days ago, my family and I were all having dinner together for New Year's. My parents surprised my siblings and I said that if each one of us (parents included) loses 15 lbs/ EA, we will all go on a Disney Cruise in June! I'm really excited and I know it's going to be hard work but I know we can do it and this will be our first Disney Cruise!

Hi everyone. Just checking in for a sec. The kids all have a ton of homework. Gee, guess the teachers don't believe in easing back into it slowly. Anyway that, along with dinner and baths should take up a good chunk of the evening.

Ruben and I went to the Strip today after running a few errands. We went to check out Encore, the follow up hotel to the Wynn. And I agree with Jane's assessment of it. It's very red.

I don't know. It's pretty and all, but boring. Sort of like looking at a hot model, one who looks great but doesn't do anything except sit there and look good. I prefer the hotels with some theming or something going on like the fountains, the pirate show, the volcano, etc. More fun and less stuffy.

OK, off to get things done around here. Talk to y'all later!
