While I was sitting here helping the twins an email from Lorealle popped up so I thought I'd pass along the info.

First, I had asked her about the hotel room rate we are receiving and she said it is still the cheapest out there for that time frame. :thumbsup2

Second, I asked her about the conference room for our pizza party. It had been booked already but I wanted to make sure that was still the case. It is.
So she is going to double check about sectioning off an area for us near the pool. (not sure which pool) She didn't think it would be a problem but was going to run it by her General Manager.

Cheryl, Stacie, and Michelle, is there anything you need me to ask her about or for in regards to the pizza party? If so, just let me know. :)

What? Nope, not me. :confused3 I'm not a champagne drinker at all (but maybe I should be???) hmmmmmmm. . . . :scratchin

Perhaps it was Linda who told about it? She seems the champagne type.

All right--then I apologize--someone out there IS evil--come on--fess up! I know someone told me about this champagne . . . I don't think it was Linda . . . now I'm confused (obviously!)

Hello Ladies!

I hope you all had a fun Christmas and New Year's break. :goodvibes A couple days ago, my family and I were all having dinner together for New Year's. My parents surprised my siblings and I said that if each one of us (parents included) loses 15 lbs/ EA, we will all go on a Disney Cruise in June! :scared1: I'm really excited and I know it's going to be hard work but I know we can do it and this will be our first Disney Cruise! :cheer2: :woohoo:

What a great incentive! Now you need to get on the Dis Divas thread to get some more motivation (says she who hasn't done a darn thing lately)

Could someone repost the ringtones or tell me what post they are in. I can't find them again!

I did mine from phonezoo.com--it's free and they send you a text message--it's a lot easier for me.

Thanks to everyone for the get well wishes!

Finally tonight the swelling is going down and I am starting to feel human again. Now, I'm not sure what to do as I had called my doctor's office this morning and basically demanded that they fit me in for a follow up appointment tomorrow and now I don't really need it. But, they will charge me for cancelling day of... so, to go or not to go, that is the question!

Ruben and I went to the Strip today after running a few errands. We went to check out Encore, the follow up hotel to the Wynn. And I agree with Jane's assessment of it. It's very red. :rotfl:

I don't know. It's pretty and all, but boring. Sort of like looking at a hot model, one who looks great but doesn't do anything except sit there and look good. I prefer the hotels with some theming or something going on like the fountains, the pirate show, the volcano, etc. More fun and less stuffy.

Glad to see that you agreed. I thought maybe I was just being overly critical, but as you said, it's pretty but not exciting. I was talking to a friend today and we agreed that we like the themed places like Paris and New York New York best!

Hi ladies!!

I'm having fun with Wendy and Dawn about the questions for the scavy hunt. Hopefully you all will have alot of fun.

The "Encore" sounds kind of boring. I agree with you guys. Theming is fun!! That is probably why we all love DL so much!!

Pix!! Your cruise is soooooooooo exciting. What a great incentive!!! I'm jealous! :rolleyes1

Hi Girls - just checking in!:cutie:
Tried to read most of the posts and catch up.

Cheryl, I wish I could take the credit for the Rosa Rogale, I have heard of it and know it's a big hit at F&W Fest in WDW. Note to self: must try this obviously wonderful treat. Maybe we can share a bottle in March.;)

Sounds like you all had fun at the mini-meet. I really enjoyed the one we had in Oct. Glad to finally hear from our little Miss WendyLouWho. She was MIA for what seemed like over a week! I loved her card, I laughed out loud and then kind of realized "HEY! I'm not too many years away from looking like the woman on the card!" I am stressing about the shirts. I am between an XL and 1X (depending on the style) and all the zazzle styles seem to run small so I think I need a shirt from a different site. The mens are...well...mens! The brown one from last year (Hanes v-neck classic fit, size XL) fits me PERFECT. And I have worn it about 50 times, really, I have. I want to get that shirt and iron on but I am so not crafty like that. I would be willing to pay someone to do it for me. Any volunteers? DD Bree needs one, too.

Stacie, my heart goes out to you, sending your baby girl abroad. Bree has decided she's going to Rome for the summer (study abroad program thru college) and I don't know how I will cope with her gone for over 6 weeks. But she really wants to go, so what can I do?

Those who are battling illnesses, gosh I hope everyone feels better soon.:flower3: TTFN!

Evening all. Well I got most of the 1099's done today. I know I came home early to try and relax but the OCD in me can't see those taxes sitting there without wanting to get them done! ;)

So I have most of them done and I will probably work on them some more tomorrow. I am still not feeling all that great so I don't know if I will be able to workout tomorrow but at least I did good on my eating today. I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast and another for lunch. Then a reasonable dinner and NO desert. I even threw away the leftover birthday cake! So I am doing good on the willpower so far! :) I really wish I could workout but I am still really sore. When I get a bad migraine my neck and back hurt for a few days afterwards and I have some other issues going on that are bothering me so I need to wait for that to clear up because right now I am hurting and can't do much. Figures too but hopefully with some rest I can get better quick.

Anyway after working on the taxes for a few hours I took a break and the girls and I watched a movie and I am beat. Think I am going to hit the hay.

See yall in the morning! :)

Well, this is quite the mystery. "Search" actually worked for me and I went through 15 pages of messages about Rosa Regale and didn't recognize any of them! (but it IS very popular in WDW!) We will definitely have to have a bottle (or two) at the Pizza Party (and maybe beyond . .. . it is yummy . . . especially with chocolate). The good news is that because of arthritis in my hands (I know, good news?) I can't open a bottle by myself, so can only open one when I have someone stronger than me to open it! LOL

Im strong, I can open a bottle of wine. I'll pop over and we can share. :thumbsup2

Hi all.... Well time seems to be moving FAST YAHHHHH. I got a call this evening that made my stomach start feeling like a rock just dropped in it. I saw it was my mom and I really had to brace myself to answer as my grandfather has been in the hospital since right before Christmas due to peunumonia, and he also has lung cancer. The antibiotics helped, but gave him other side effects that still have him in the hospital as they are trying to help those issues now. He's not eating much, and is tired but hanging in there its just a really rough time in my heart and felt the need to speak about. I look forward to the trip to be with people you love cause you just never know. I just wanted to share that, and look forward to meeting you ladies.

*hugs*... Hang in there Lostgirlz... i'll keep Your Grandfather in my prayers.

Cheryl...i'm so glad you tried that champagne.. we love it! Plus it's so girlie...:cutie:

Morning everyone! Lostgirlz hope your grandpa is ok and you all will be in my prayers!

Today is my day off and since I am still not feeling all that hot I am just going to take another nice long hot bath and then try to take a nap after I take the girls to school. Then when I get up it is more taxes. Yippee! :)

But I just want to get it done! Then I can relax. This afternoon I have to take Lynn to the ortho but luckily we have nothing else going on and hopefully this is the LAST trip to the ortho since she is getting her retainer. I don't know if they still want to see her or not. Guess I'll find out. :)

But anyway that's my day. Hope everyone has a good one. Talk to you later.

Morning, everyone! I was able to get a PS for a table for 6 at 5:10pm on March 6th.

I'll stop by later today - gotta go to a meeting. :upsidedow

I'm sorry to hear that. I'll keep you and him in my thoughts. And I agree about being with people you love because you just never know.

Good Morning ladies,

I made a Carnation Cafe reservation: March 6th, party of 4 adults, 5:00pm. :thumbsup2

No school for our kids again today. Another snow day.

Morning, everyone! I was able to get a PS for a table for 6 at 5:10pm on March 6th.

Sounds like you had better luck then I did. :headache: First she tried to tell me she couldn't book for a table of 6, then she said she could but the only times she had were 4:20 or 6:00.

I knew the 6:00 would be too late! So I booked a table for 6 at the 4:20 time. The only potential problem I see with that is for those who are eating at Blue Bayou our seating time is 11:50 and I'm not sure we'll be hungry again so soon. :confused3

Then again, I was only going to get soup at Carnation Cafe anyway.......so maybe it will be fine. I'll see if someone wants to share a meal at BB and then get soup at CC. That way I get to experience BB and still get my soup and not be too full. :thumbsup2

Well, let's see what times Steph, Capri and Debra get. I hope we are able to over lap. If not, we might have to work on that plan B.

Off to get the twins ready for school. Be back later.
