“Mommy, can we go see SNOW WIPE at DIZZY WORLD?! … PEEZZZ” A March 2010 PTR w/pics

Hi...I just followed you over from Gabes_mommy's PTR. We're going in March 2010 too and we'll overlap some days. My DMom, DSis and I will be walking the 5K on March 6th. I have to actually go on my Sept trip before I plan too much of my March trip, at least that's what I keep telling myself :rotfl:

Just read through and wanted to comment on a few things...

Your DD is adorable and congratulations on your little boy! :goodvibes

Thanks for all the pics of DLR, I've never been...someday, right?! We're from FL so WDW is the only home we know

ETA...loved the pics of the "chapstick incident"! The trying threes are going to be fun for me too :rotfl:

Looking forward to more updates and hopefully sharing planning for March!! popcorn::

Hello!!! Welcome to my PTR!! I love talking to other mommies who have kids the same age as mine.

Thanks for commenting on the DLR pictures. I know they're not WDW, and I hope people don't mind, but I like sharing them just because they're Disney. I really recommend going someday!!

I think March is going to be a great time to go.... Sounds like the weather is going to be fantastic.... And good for for you running the 5k!! :thumbsup2

Hey mama!

I'm not caught up yet (you've been busy the last day or two!) but I wanted to comment on Catching Fire: HECK YA! And my DMIL already has a copy of the new Vampire Academy book (Blood Promise) waiting for me at her house... I'll pick it up this weekend when we meet at the coast for an overnighter .. WOO HOO!

I wanted to pimp this thread, too....

The After Twilight Book Club Thread
http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2153915

I'll catch up with the rest soon..

BTW- I don't have any Disney trips coming up :guilty:.. I vote for the non-park hopper (seems like a better excuse to take it slightly easier on yourself.. that's how I was going to roll if I ever got to go to WDW) and.. great DCA park photo's.. lovely composition!

OMG!!!! The newest Vampire Academy book is out?!?!? I had NOOOO idea! Gotta hit Barnes and Noble tomorrow!

The chapstick pictures are just too funny, definitely ones to show her future husband! ;) :rotfl: I work in a daycare so I definitely understand 'the trying threes' Lately we've been trying to drum into one of our little girls that she can't just do what she likes to the other kids (usually snatching toys!) but it's hard to stay serious when she's all sassy in replying "but I said sorry!" :upsidedow
How fun!!! It takes a really special person to work in a daycare! I seem to only have patience for my own kid....and since I've been pregnant that runs REALLY thin these days. :rolleyes1

Woo Hoo.... More Disney vacation photos!!! :yay:

Too funny! I'm pretty sure her butt is padded though.

I LOVE those parade pics from DL....now I want to go see that parade!

Where is this Winnie the Pooh Outfit for baby??? Does he have a name yet? I may have missed that part.

My mom got me a Winnie the Pooh doll from K-mart when I was 1 1/2 years old. I still have him and though he doesn't look much like the modern Pooh's he's mine and I love him!

There's actually a funny (or just plain weird - you decide) story about my bear that I will post on my PTR.

:lmao: You're right I'm pretty sure it's padded too.... Actually I told him that there was probably a guy in that costume. I kinda rained on his parade when I said that. :rolleyes1

I'll post pictures of Jayden's new outfit on the next post and I'll head over to your PTR to read about your Pooh story...... Jayden's outfit is of the vintage pooh. (( I think he's adorable throughout the years))

I bought the baby ((Jayden)) his 1st Winnie the Pooh outfit for the trip. Was on clearance at Target. :woohoo:

I love that Pooh outfit - so cute!!! :lovestruc Reya looks darling in her dance outfit too. :goodvibes

Hi! I just dropped by to check out your pre trip report. Kind of funny that I am leaving in a week, and your leaving in March, and we are both working out our itineraries at the same time. :goodvibes

I really am a Disney amateur :rotfl2:

I love that outfit!! Adorable!!!

Awww, and reya looks so cute in her dance clothes....judging by those other pics of her dancing, I'm sure she'll be a natural.

Okay, I'm going over to post my weird/quirky Pooh story now...

I know, it's so cute!!! I hate to admit it but it's so hard to find any REALLY cute boys clothes, it's so disapointing!! Having a girl has been so much fun because of all the adorable clothes they have out there for them. Don't get me wrong there are cute boys clothes but not nearly as many as girls.

Reya does look darling in her dance outfit.... :cutie: She is going to be the cutest little ballerina, I'm so excited to begin this new adventure in her life.. My husband has even agreed to get off early every thursday so he can go with us to her classes. :dance3:

LOL.... Yeah you are! But that's okay... I'm so jealous you're leaving in a week... Have a fabulous time.

I'm hoping she's a natural... she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to watch "So you think you can dance" ... it's fun to watch her try to dance along. I'm just hoping and praying she doesn't have my two left feet.

Now I gotta go check out your ptr.

I love the photo of Reya in front of Pooh's honey pots...she looks like she's saying "are you gonna take the picture or what?"

So those are from Disneyland Resor in CA right? I don't know why I was surprised to see a pink castle there...I've even been there once and I don't remember it. :confused3

Totally true! I have luck finding cute boy stuff at Baby Gap and Nordstrom the most. I also really like Mini Boden, but it's pricey so I wait for sales. Gymboree has the cutest girls stuff, but I am usually not crazy about their boy stuff. I also really like the Small Paul line by Paul Frank for DS. :goodvibes

Yes, they're from DLR. Once I get through those pictures I'll be sure to post out WDW vacation photos too. If I'm correct it's Cinderella's castle that's at WDW and Sleeping Beauty's castle is at DLR. In my opinion Princess Aurora got the short end of the stick. :rotfl:

Ohhh thank you so much for the suggestions... I'll have to check out those places. I love all the boys clothes at Carter's too... It's so frustrating having to buy a whole new wardrobe, but fun at the same time. :rolleyes1

Like most of you disers I like to make my Disney plans as detailed as possible before I leave. :goodvibes Everything is usually planed down to the minute from what shows we’ll see, to the meals we’ll eat, and the rides we’ll ride. But unfortunately with a 3 month old baby I’m thinking this just isn’t realistic and will be doing my planning a “little” differently this time. :rolleyes1

The two biggest changes are that I’m only going to make one ADR per day and instead of deciding EXACTLY what rides we’re going to ride and in what order I’m just going to make a MUST-DO list for the day. I guess we’ll see how it works out.?!?:confused3

Up Next ….. March 5th Day 2 plans and more disney vacation photos
;)

How exciting to be planning a DW trip and planning for baby :lovestruc

Your DD is so cute in her dance outfit!

Your pics are great! I aspire to be a decent amature photographer someday!

Thanks for sharing your plans :goodvibes

Thanks for the welcome and keep those DLR pics coming, we will go there one day for sure!

Love, love the Pooh outfit. Pooh's my fav, so I'm just a little biased. Hence my son had tons of Pooh clothes, stuffies, decorations...in fact his room is classic pooh! ;) DS was even "Super-Sleuth Pooh" for Halloween this past year...oops, I've passed on my obsession with Pooh :rotfl:

Reya looks precious in her dance outfit :goodvibes

Carter's is a good one, and so is Macy's, my DMom gets lots of really cute boy's clothes for DS there...and she's a great bargain hunter so they're always a sweet deal. :woohoo:

I'm glad you like the DLR pictures... I'm hoping that it is inspiring some people who've never been to give it a try. I'm a WDW girl all the way but I do love my DLR too.

I've never checked out macy's for baby clothes before, I'm gonna have to do that. They just built one about 5 miles from here so maybe I'll go tomorrow. :cheer2:

Sounds like a great Day 2 plan!

I'm a super planner too but I draw the line at planning which rides we'll do when. I know the parks like the back of my hand, so we'll just make a list of highlights (like you) and work our way around...I don't want to be too rigid b/c I'm already going to be pushing it to get to rope drop most days.

Plus I want to relax & not be a drill sargeant for the trip, you know?

I think you're very clever to build in some extra cushion w/ your plans :thumbsup2
