My issues with the multi-use toiletries

I guess I've never even thought to use the provided toiletries. I always bring my own anyway.

Am I in the minority on that?
Nope.............
I'll not use shared toiletry items.
I know where mine have been and what's in my bottles.
And I intend to tell them during my next check in what Disney Management can do with those non tamper proof bottles.

I bring solid shampoo, solid conditioner and a small bottle of shower gel. And solid face cleanser. No checking luggage! Sometimes I use WDW's but in DVC they don't have the dispensers yet.

Umm, okay. My pro-collagen cleansing balm has a light rose scent; my papaya enzyme peel has a papaya/pineapple scent; my balancing toner has a light lavender scent; and my pro-collagen marine cream is unscented. There's really nothing masculine about those products. Perhaps you were given samples from their Men's line.

I'm so glad that you found products that work for you.
please expand on that "papaya enzyme peel"? it sounds great.

I hope you aren't telling the staff what they can do with it since they have nothing to do with it, as you know. Save your comments to those that made the choice.

No. I always bring my own.

Me too. But because of allergies, not because I have a hatred of the stuff Disney supplies. Though I don't think that orange stuff smelled very good.

For the last couple of years I have brought my own hand soap pump too. So much nicer than a messy bar. That was a great tip I got right on the Dis.:)

i have 3 kids. i won't know where my bottles have been or what's in them until the last one goes off to college.
I know your problem.
An empty nest isn't all that bad.

No.
I intend to be extremely polite to the CM's.
I've had good friends in those positions and I'm aware that they are not to blame for issues created by Management.
I'll be referring to the upper Management types who make asinine decisions that they personally will never have to deal with.
Like parking fees and non tamper proof toiletry bottles.

Well I have become a fan of the H2O products since our recent stay at AKL and I assume this change to what I refer to as bacteria makers are so Disney can save a few more pennies by installing stuff that I will never use. My daughter had read the change was not going to the deluxe resorts so she is using the soap an another bullet in her battle to permanently get me to upgrade to deluxe.

Other than being completely tacky - "bacteria makers" - YUCK! Totally agree.:crazy2::scared:

Haha, made me think about every time my brother came home from college ... seemed half the kitchen, bath, laundry room went back off to college with him ........... so even college may not help.

Exactly. I like H2O Plus a lot. The Deluxe resorts provide their skin care items. I've used the moisturizer and like it a lot. I've bought it at Ulta since. It's not the highest end item but not low end either.
And I really love their foot relief cream. Bought a big tube of that too.

Do they sell this foot relief cream at ulta or just Disney ?

I have started using sulfate-free shampoo and it has made quite the different with my hard-to-manage hair. I have used hotel supplies in the past if I have run out or forgotten something. Of course I use soap for washing hands, but whatever I use in the shower, I bring myself. Otherwise, the little bottles don't get used in my room. I usually leave them so they don't go to waste. I have used the lotion in the past, when I have visited in the winter and my hands are dry. They are a perfect size to pop in your park bag and take on the go.

I always bring my own stuff, so I can safely ignore the shower pump pots when we stay at POR next year. :) Problem solved!
