7A on Disney Wonder... No availability in 2020

I agree something is up with the 7As as even the CMs haven't seen any available. I was online right at 8AM on opening day for Platinum and there was nothing for the Panama cruise.

Yes I think something is up with the 7A's. I was online to book the May Hawaii cruise and when I logged in online at 7:40 am on Platinum day and they were gone. I have gotten one before after being on the phone for several hours (Before you could do it online.) I did checking that morning on other cruises and nothing....

I was investigating both Hawaii sailings on platinum day. I logged in around 645 AM EST out of curiosity and was surprised to see the new dates loaded already. There were no 7A available already at that time. Website was working perfectly and all other inventory was available from inside to concierge. I believe the OP is on to something here and that all of us assumed that they were sold out.

Well I guess thats why the Hawaii sailings sold out so much quicker.
How many cabins is that?
I wonder (No pun intended) if they will try to get them finished before these sailings and add them to the inventory.

My other reason for thinking they're not in inventory is that touring plans has a cruise fare tracker and there is no data available for the 7As on the Wonder 2020.

Unless it's a glitch, they must have been taken out of inventory. We tend to book 7As and, while they may book quickly, they're never all gone for every sailing in a matter of days. Maybe DCL will add bunks to these rooms so they're available for 4.

I saw that Scott (@TheDCLBlog) tweeted about this yesterday. He seems to be digging into the issue of no 7A's (Navigator Verandahs) being available after the 2019 Alaska season/dry dock.

I had emailed him the other day asking if he knew anything. He replied that he's been working on it for a few weeks and has nothing to report as of yet.

I asked the lady who was making my reservation point blank, and she says a lot of people making reservations. I don't get why Disney just won't say the real reason and be done with it. I mean it is what it is..........

To be fair the people making the reservations on the phones probably don't know anything beyond nothing shows as available in their system. Someone in DCL knows what's going on of course but it won't be the phone CMs.

It does make sense to make oceanview that sleep 5, I can see that happening.

I agree that OV that sleep 5 would be a good idea. Given the overall popularity of the 7As (especially for the Alaska sailings), you would think that not all 30 would be converted (though I could see adding a bunk to all of them).

Maybe do one of those full walls of windows like some other lines have or like Deck 11 on the Dream class? That would still be shelter for Alaska but more better viewing.

But he made it a very interesting read!
I'm not sure they could turn the 7As into a room that sleeps 5. It's my understanding that they couldn't put the bunk bed in there (hence why they only slept 3 and not 4 to start with). If they enclose the verandah area and add a Murphy bed, they could sleep 4 in that room.

I don't really see them combining rooms (either above or below any given room, or side by side) as this would reduce the number of rooms they would have available for booking.

I could see them doing that IF they had trouble selling those rooms currently.
