But there are more than 4 cat 7A. There should have been 30 7A rooms per sailing. There’s only 4 secret verandas on the Classics, so they sell out quickly.

I had emailed him the other day asking if he knew anything. He replied that he's been working on it for a few weeks and has nothing to report as of yet.I saw that Scott (@TheDCLBlog) tweeted about this yesterday. He seems to be digging into the issue of no 7A's (Navigator Verandahs) being available after the 2019 Alaska season/dry dock.
I asked the lady who was making my reservation point blank, and she says a lot of people making reservations. I don't get why Disney just won't say the real reason and be done with it. I mean it is what it is..........

Now it's a blog post.
I have to say that I find Scott's presentation pretty funny.
It does make sense to make oceanview that sleep 5, I can see that happening.
Maybe do one of those full walls of windows like some other lines have or like Deck 11 on the Dream class? That would still be shelter for Alaska but more better viewing.I agree that OV that sleep 5 would be a good idea. Given the overall popularity of the 7As (especially for the Alaska sailings), you would think that not all 30 would be converted (though I could see adding a bunk to all of them).
I'm not sure they could turn the 7As into a room that sleeps 5. It's my understanding that they couldn't put the bunk bed in there (hence why they only slept 3 and not 4 to start with). If they enclose the verandah area and add a Murphy bed, they could sleep 4 in that room.It does make sense to make oceanview that sleep 5, I can see that happening.
But he made it a very interesting read!
I could see them doing that IF they had trouble selling those rooms currently.
Seems like the only reason they would renovate those rooms is if they do something that lets them charge more money for them. But of course they don't. They seem to be very popular.
