Game of Thrones - Season 8 - NO SPOILERS PLEASE

OK, so I studied up on it a little and I'm going to say at best, he's an imposter who could complicate things. I highly doubt that storyline could be introduced and developed with so little time left in the tv series, but it's possible for the books. And lastly, why on earth would Rhaegar Targaryan name two different sons Aegon? (One born of Elia and the other of Lyanna.)

I was referring to the books, not onscreen. Like Lady Stoneheart, this is a storyline show writers have not adapted or included.

At that point Rhaegar already had a son named Aegon, who was one of Elia Martell’s children.

I get confused... the time line is what throws me off... I thought that they had already died before Rhaegar fell at the battle of the Trident...

Fair but it's yet to be seen how much power Tyrion has OR will have. Also, Sansa isn't the typical female. She pretty much answers to nobody at this point so she can pick her own mate, based on her own criteria, when she's good and ready.

Agree totally and its nice to see her have the power... Going forward who knows what the next 3 Sunday nights are going to show us... While she can choose... she still will put her family and people of the North first and forward... so maybe who knows, what she is willing to do to secure the Northern houses... What Dan and Dave have cooked up for us...

I'm not sure about her being Queen I do think that she would be a great Queen, I just wonder would she leave the North.. A Stark has to always be a Winterfell, plus she seems to feel that its her responsibility to take care of them... I can and can't see Arya stepping in as Lady of Winterfell...then Gendry plays into the whole thing with Arya...

So many roads to go down... and only 3 more Sundays....

I think the whole point of the Jon Connington storyline is the implication that the young son of Rhaegar and Elia didn’t perish at that time but was somehow spirited away and raised in secret.

Okay... Just so much... could be's, and what if's and on and on the wheel turns... Looking forward to Sunday night... did you see the picture of Episode 4...?

No. I haven’t spent a lot of time looking at what might come next. I’m still in mourning for my beloved Lyanna Mormont and I just cannot...

It was hard to lose her. Fantastic performance by the young actress. I was hoping she would survive to continue to lead House Mormont and be a stronghold in the north.

I had thought a while back there was a good likelihood they were going to go for a cliche of the smallest warrior battling a giant and did roll my eyes a bit as it began to unfold. These writers could maybe benefit from a tiny tutorial from Gilligan, Gould and Co. about the power of using subtle details to tell the story.

Just wondering - are we even sure there’s going to be a King/Queen of the 7 Kingdoms? Maybe nobody gets the Iron Throne...
Either way - I really don’t think it will be Jon or Dany - but rather Gendry or maybe Sansa with Varys as hand...time will tell - at least for the HBO version. Who knows if GRRM will ever finish the books.

I kind of think they will have a council with 7 leaders representing the 7 kingdoms (spokes on the wheel). No one king/queen but 7 equal rulers.

Here are the seven individual kingdoms—the North (home to Winterfell), the Vale (home to The Eyrie), the Stormlands, the Reach, the Westerlands, the Iron Islands, and Dorne

:rolleyes1 Let's see...that would be Sansa Stark (the North), the smarmy little worm Robin Arryn for the Vale, no legitimate Baratheons left for the Stormlands so maybe Gendry, no Tyrells left at all that we know of so the Reach is up for grabs, Jamie Lannister is the "official" heir to the Westerlands, Yara Greyjoy occupies the Iron Islands but Euron would definitely challenge her claim and there aren't any Martels left down in Dorne either that we know of.

It would make for an interesting table especially considering that unless we count the Crownlands in as a separate thing, neither Cersi or Daenarys will have any place.

And House Tarly is part of the Reach so maybe Sam. Dorne...not sure who would rule there.

We had to watch in a dark room the lighting in the episode was so dark. While DH thought that it was a good episode I thought that it was a bit slow and I lost interest. There were predicable deaths, and a few females who kicked butt!

I'm trying to figure out Bran, what will the future hold for him? Is he good or bad?

Wasn't too impressed with Dani, but then I'm not really caring for her character these days. Joran(?) him fighting for her was predictable, but I enjoyed his loyalty. And why didn't she use the dragon fire to wipe out the first few hundred/thousand wights? I kind of felt bad about the Dothraqui (sp?) people riding out to only have their lights go out. Kind of like Whoops!

I agree....I feel like the dragons could have wiped out a whole mess of the wights when they were all just standing in front of the burning trenches before they started to cross over.

I had hoped that Margaery Tyrell survived the explosion via some secret tunnel or something. Wishful thinking.
I thought along similar lines when Olena took the poison. She was one feisty old bird and maybe, just maybe she faked it. I’m not really looking for any major “gotcha” like that at this point anymore though.

What about Ellaria who was left in dungeon to watch her daughter die of poisoning? Whatever became of her? We can assume a slow torturous death. She likely is still alive and could be freed. I thought Grey Worm and Missandei would be good in Dorne. Though my thoughts are all wishes and dreams and we know GRR doesn't do happy endings. So.....
