Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

it is odd to pass up CL, especially when it’s actually cheaper than the room I already have booked. But as my 13 year old reminded me “you already have a resort magnet for animal kingdom lodge, you need a new one!”

I've been known to cheat and get the holiday pin for a resort I'm not staying at as I love it, why not the magnets too?

Nah, I actually want to stay there and have the memories and stories to go with them. I love to point to them, recount the number of times I’ve stayed, and recall some wacky incident that happened while staying there. If I just buy the magnet it’s not the same.

Yum. So jealous you are getting a chocolate pudding tomorrow. Not sure if you like Spanish food but there was a booth by America. It was too late when we saw it but they had seafood cup and paella. Looked delicious. Also a Galicia beer that I've had before and is good. I should start getting magnets. Never occurred to me to get resort magnets. I buy one at every new place we visit. Thanks for the idea your daughter made me laugh .

For anyone at AKL..... Do they still have selections for kids at night? They used to have things like chicken nuggets, meatballs, ham and cheese roll ups, uncountable, etc.

AKL cl looks wonderful but we like to stay in the EPCOT area so we can walk to two parks and I think well appreciate that even more nowadays. Do you think all the club levels will be open by summer 2022? Does Disney give much notice when they are going to open up availability for booking?

Personally I think it's a safe bet that all CL's will be open by mid 2022. I believe they aren't open now simply due to not enough staff....JMO.

I’d expect an announcement in the next few months but I continue to believe YC and BC CL will reopen in March of 2022.

So most of the CLs got a heads up but AKL just showed up as bookable one day and was never really announced. I can assure you that when it comes available, it will probably be posted here before anywhere else.

Sorry if I missed this but has anyone there now been told how housekeeping is going to be handled in CL? Will it be old daily service or the new towels only every other day service?

Unless some of our thread friends who are at AKL CL now report otherwise, I assume it will be the same every other day treatment. I’m going to guess CL won’t get anything different, although that would be nice for sure!

In other news, just made final payment on my CR package. It hurt

I called resort reservations number because it showed an extra person on my final payment page. The very nice CM reviewed it, saw what I paid and said, 'let me see if there are any discounts available to you!' I knew the terrible truth but I let him check. 'Sorry, you have the best price there is'.
Thank you Mr. CM, for your efforts I thought it warranted staying around for the survey and giving him 5's.

I'm curious about housekeeping too... not that I need anyone to make up my bed or run a vaccum around the room, I do those on my own. I want the resort branded chocolates on my pillow every evening!

With all this talk of CL closings and reopenings, does anyone have the rundown on which ones have been refurbed and ones that still need to be done?

Does GF club level have any extra benefits these days other then lounge access and room location. I would totally splurge if the fast passes were still available but it doesn't sound like it. I don't really care about the lounge since we prefer to eat out properly at restaurants on vacation. The room location just seems magical. With the orchestra gone tho it just seems way too expensive compared to a lagoon view outer building.

Any thoughts on Poly CL? Crossing my fingers it will open early 2022, but who knows.

It’s a somewhat frustrating page given some things are being kept current and some are not.

I totally agree!
As for the CL Experience as a whole, no robes, no slippers, no daily assistance for passes and special meals, etc...I’m so not there!
What happened to those extra benefits that only the CL Guests get to experience?
