This is true. I suppose my biggest fear would be getting swept. I’ve slowly been increasing speed, my PR for the half is 2:54, so it is doable if I am able to increase the distance.

The humidity will be an adjustment for me, but I have changed my run times to be midday or late afternoon to get as much of the heat acclimatization as I can. Helps that we are forecast to break 100 this Wednesday.

I am intending to sign up for Kessel Run challenge on payday. For me it will almost be a coast to coast challenge anyway as I intend my virtual half to be the Phoenix-Mesa half in February anyway.
