A sign of the times.... lol

This will even out eventually. So many people are rushing to get to new attractions, but once that filters through, the FP will be spread out again. Next year everyone will rush to Galaxy's Edge.

Is Disney Fun for Adults Because It's For Kids?

This question can be broken down into two answers for me. The first is yes, I get to be a kid and relive my childhood and not get judged. In a world where there are a lot of stresses and worries, it's nice to Akuna Matata for 10-12 days. Secondly, I feel that if you go for the correct events...

    Animal Kingdom Rope Drop question

IF you guys aren't fans of crowds, rope drop to get to FOP isn't going to work for you. As you've read in other posts, it's still going to be busy. Not aggressive but still very busy.

    DDP vs Gift Card

It depends on your preferences. I personally see no value in the DDP. My wife was always a believer in it and had always used it. I convinced her to try without it our first trip, and she's never gone back. We rarely want to sit for a breakfast in the morning, and because we get groceries...

    Saratoga Springs?

It's beautiful there. Very close to DS, further from the parks. Frankly, I prefer being closer to DS. I'm hopping on buses to get to the parks anyway. I like the added convenience of walking over to DS at any given time and going to Raglan for a pint.

Magicband delivery - How long before the trip?

There was one time we got them a month prior, one time we got them a week prior. I suppose it depends on how many they are shipping in a given period and how long it took for you and them to customize them? There was one year I got my DME luggage tags two days before my trip as well. THAT was scary.

    >> Resort Grocery Delivery FAQ <<

We use Garden Grocer every time. It's a bit more than you'd spend at a Publix, but you still save enough where you justify the purchase. Plus the added convenience of having it brought right to your resort can't be matched. They also have amazing customer service.

    Keeping Costs Down

The value resorts are very affordable and nice. We've only ever stayed there because we're hardly ever in the room. We also like to order groceries from the Garden Grocer who will deliver what you order to your hotel. That will save you LOTS of money on food and beverages.

Be sure to leave yourselves plenty of time to get to the expo and pick up your race packets. It can be very busy and can take a long time.

Are Disney’s Water Parks in Trouble?

We went to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time in November. We had never been to a Disney water park before, and I will say I was impressed. It was more fun than I imagined it would be, and the wave pool was a great place to relax. It would be a shame if anything were to happen to that park. Can't...

Are there Disney movies you DON'T like? Classics, even?

The two I dislike aren't going to make me any friends, but I really don't like Lilo and Stitch or M'oana. Stitch is annoying to me, and M'oana is formulaic, and I always felt the movie was more about Maui.

    My first trip Q&A thread

Hey all. My wife and I are going to DL/DCA for the first time in November. We will be there for 4 days and have a few questions to ask. I figure this thread can act as a place where I centrally locate my answers. First question: Do they offer fireworks/world of color dessert parties ala WDW...

Assuming weather is the same, which day for Epcot in November?

Agreed with the above. Friday will be lighter since the EMH are the day prior.

Pretty good problem to have, but...

If you rope drop and get right to your longer wait attractions, you'll get by without the FP. I'd suggest doing the 7DMT first. If you REALLY want to do Peter Pan's Flight, I'd suggest doing that right after. That always seems to have a 75 minute wait.

Timeline for FoF parade and an early dinner

Park by the train station for sure. As soon as it is over, jump on the Monorail and travel to dinner in style!

    Animal Kingdom morning

That's how we did it in November. Frankly, it is alot of back and forth but it will save you on waiting forever to get on Navi. It's a good plan.
