But you are right that insinuation must have been made because of something else, I have no idea where that pp got her idea. Its not like what you said up above comes across as you thinking the meaning of the award will be diminished from it's "original" form now that girls would be eligible for it too.
Personally I see no reason the boy scouts should change to co-ed, but I don't really see any reason to care if they do.
