Chick-Fil-A at an NFL stadium

At In n Out they always repeat your order 3 times before they hand it to you. They never got it wrong, until they did. I've been to a few CFAs. They wouldn't be my choice, I find the food just ok. Sometimes they have a nicer variety od salads than most fast food. We have a lot of chains in So Cal, they stepped into a busy landscape. Anyway, judging by the one down the block from where I work, it's never clean and my co-workers constantly complain that they get the order wrong. The one time I went there, they mixed up grilled and crispy chicken and handed me a cookie instead of fixing it. What? Remake the salad. The one closest to my house hasn't been clean the 2 times I was there either. I must have been there between shifts.

I loved their ginger cookies. Good memories overall, though.

That's terrible! And I am very surprised! Like someone said upthread, their corporation normally has a tight control on their stores to make sure they are all consistent. They very much want all of their stores to follow their business ideals and plans. Sounds like someone is dropping the ball on that store.

The store here and the one in Slidell LA have both offered our meals for free because they were out of something we ordered. As in the whole thing--food for 3 people! Can't imagine just a cookie for a mixed up order.

Here in Atlantic County NJ we're getting our second Chick-Fil-A. The original store is always packed! (Except on Sundays!):love2:

I work in downtown Atlanta. I am a Chicagoan, that moved down here 12 years ago at the age of 35. While not necessarily in love with Chick-Fil-A, I will say that the restaurants are cleaner than other fast food franchises, they employees are super polite and they really do have more tasty and varied healthy options than other places.

The same manager has been at the Peachtree Center (downtown Atlanta) location since I moved here, which is very unusual for fast food. He personally delivers catered orders to our office as well as knows most of our admin staff by name.

Well - I had a recent experience after not having been to a CFA in years. My dad was in the hospital, and he actually got sent to a specialist in Sacramento. My mom isn't particularly good at driving and I ended up staying with her at the hospital and took her around. Since I didn't know much about the area (outside of a few places) I ended up looking for familiar names. The CFA wasn't necessarily what I expected. I hadn't been to this location before, but it was near our hotel. It was hardly spotless. There were little bit on the ground that hadn't been cleaned up. Service was OK, but nothing really stood out.

I did notice a lot of things that seem a bit different than I'm used to at fast food places. First of all was that all the beverages were served in styrofoam cups, which are basically not allowed any more around my area. Even Sonic only seems to have styrofoam for their slushes to keep them insulated. Coffee and other beverages are served in paper cups. And there's even a Sonic that doesn't use styrofoam because of a local city ordinance. They use non-insulated PET cups.

And the food was OK. It was just a fried chicken patty in a bun. I was certainly hungry, but I'm still trying to figure out what really distinguishes it from other places that cost less.

3 days into the college season, and 2 games already played in the new dome (both sponsored by Chick-Fil-A).
