I don't know what I love most about your post ... the fact that it's 2 days/1 or 2 sleeps to Disney, the amazing cake Rachel got you, the balloons, or the card. It's all so awesome!
It's been a pretty great week!
And I just want to say ... I hope those merci chocolates are really good, because those commercials annoy me and I think the chocolate needs to be good to make up for it.
I actually still have no idea if they're good or not. I stashed them in my desk, as I was out of emergency chocolate rations. I've actually never heard of them or seen a commercial for them... and from what you said, I'm GLAD that I haven't!
So ... the suspense is killing me ... did you get to leave work early???
Yes and no. I did leave early, but at 5pm, not at 2-3pm like I was supposed to. It didn't get busy, nope. But at 2:58, just as I was packing up to leabe... an email came in that I couldn't blow off, and I didn't have my out-of-office up yet to let the sender know I was away for until Dec. 14th. So I stayed, handled that project, and was just wrapping up when at 3:53pm... it happened again. Another email, this time from a high-dollar client. Still no out-of-office reply. Doh. Grumbled about it then put up my out-of-office auto-reply despite still being in the office, then handled business. Finally got out the door at 5:02pm. FREEDOMMMMMM!!!!
I love all your birthday cards, especially the 35 one. The cake looks awesome, too. What a nice office birthday.
