I'm from Wisconsin! My home is in a suburb near Milwaukee, but I am going to school at UW-Madtown!

I used to love Summerfest, but I don't know if I officially became old this year or what, because I went twice this past summer (to see John Mayer, and then Daughtry) and couldn't wait to leave either time. So many drunk, stupid people...and crowded! Holy cow! Could have been though that I was newly pregnant, and sick and crabby most of the time.

Ask me again this summer!

I love how we didn't get the snow we were supposed to get today. We got nothing here except for maybe a little freezing drizzle. I'm so ready for winter to be over and not having to walk on sidewalks covered with a 3-inch layer of ice.

I'm taking my family friday nite. We are sitting in my companies suite. My son usually works at the Bradley Center selling t-shirts, etc. He is a student at UW-Milwaukee. He did the Bon Jovi concert the other nite.
Oh I live 40 miles north of Milwaukee and my wife is a moderator on the DIS.

It's been that way for as long as I can remember it ... and I used to go when the drinking age was only 18 (early 80's)! It's OK during the day, but once the sun goes down LOOK OUT! I try to go during the week and when the fest opens. I miss the "big name" acts but I also miss the drunks.

I've personally had a DIS meet at my house a couple years ago and also have had some meets downtown for ice shows/etc. Most often we travel to Chicago to do their meets. I've seen BigV there for meets to. Just think - there's thousands of people around the country that would LOVE to meet Dan Murphy and we have him in our backyard. Woo hoo!

Maybe I'll have to do another meet when it's warmer....

Hi Jeff, long time, no see! Yes, you and Gael put on a great Dis meet! Dan is such a great guy and Marie is so sweet too! I miss our good ole' Chicago meets with all the gang. Chris and Mike, Kim, Brian, Patrick and Ellen, and you can't forget Dopeygirl (Tricia) and NancyIl either! How are the girls doing? They have to be getting so big by now! Say hi to Gael from me!
